So, everyone that grows up in our decade(s) has at least seen or had some knowledge of these "illicit " substances. So, i think they are helpful for self realization if used responsibly. Fish tank's opinion? | ||

depends on what substance you are talking about. the only drugs i condone use of is weed/hash and shrooms. i don't think hardcore shit is going to give you much "self realization", except the day that you realize that your life is fucked up and/or you are dead. Edited Fri Apr 20 2007, 02:04AM |

thats pretty ignorant trippy, the only reason i ever smoked weed or poped a pill was so i'd feel good and have a good time you might wanna elaborate on your opinion a little more to get response to this thread |

I believe drugs (by which i mean marijuana, nothing hardcore like crack) can be used for recreational purposes. That is to say if you're with your buddies for the night, and you know you probably won't be doing anything better than sit around, spark up a joint. If you're using drugs or alcohol to escape reality, or blowing off friends to do drugs, then that is when it becomes a problem. | ||

I smoked marijuana a while ago, but I quit now and I also didnt think it gave me self-realization. I hated it, and I mostly used it for a sleep aid and having munchies was fucking awesome. Yeah, it made everything SOO fucking funny, but I just didnt like being EXTREMELY high where I was like a zombie and didnt know where I was. Ive done shrooms, ALOT of shrooms, and didnt trip at all  they just gave me a miserable stomach ache like I was warned, and the worst coming down bad trip ive ever had in my life. Made me cry at 4am. long story, lol, bad drug in my eyes, just didnt do it for meAlcohol... is just alcohol. No self-realization, just pure stupidity, that is somehow fun as hell. Cant explain its effects And lastly, the last and most hardcore drug this 16 year old took, COCAINE!! Funnest fucking drug ive ever taken. I am a very upbeat, outgoing, hyper kindof guy, and this shit just got me going. I enjoy staying up late, and just having a good time with friends, and this drug does that for me. Its fun as hell. It is VERY addicting, so I only do it once every 6 months(about an 8 ball), it has fucked up my nose and caused like these weird slits, so it definitely fucks with you, and it kindof has a bad coming down trip, not so bad though. No self-realization here, just that you dont need to take hardcore drugs that are made out of leaves and gasoline. There is no reason to do coke, and the only reason I do it is because its like a family thing. My two brothers and my cousin all do it once every 6 months together, and its just alot of fun that one night, and there is no addiction that goes with it. All in all, like someone said, pretty ignorant, and state your opinion wider. I personally hate all drugs, but I still love weed and coke, and I drink all the time. |

I smoke weed when i can and drink when i can, havning an allowance and not a job yet makes it better for me to not go on drinking smoking binges.I just get together my friends and get plastered or super baked...not doing both again, that really sucked. I actually am wanting to try shrooms. i hope fully might be this weekend. But other than that i dont intend to try any hard-core drug, incase of addiction, and my dad will beat the fuck out of me if i do ANY kind of drug whatsoever, so i keep it on the dl that i toke up. but that ir what he told me like 6 months ago. And he is like 6' 1'' 230 Lbs. one scary mofo. But yeah, i like smoking weed, it lets me have a good time and livins up the party for me. Just to make it clear. Im turning 16 in llike 2 months and am going to look for a job in september, so i dont want to come across as a little kid or a guy that just mooches off his family and will live with his parents till he's 30 years old, No no thats my cousin Neil. haha. Personally I think that all drugs should be legal maybe not to kids but to adults. I am a firm believer in "Do what you want so long as you don't involve me. So long as I don't want to be involved" That being said I don't think anyone should do drugs it harms the body and the mind a lot. If your going to have to do drugs then stick to the lesser vices. Stick to caffeine, pot, smoking, or drinking. (listed in order of least harmful to most) If you need to discover yourself then you don't need some magic drug to fix all your problems. All you need is to do is gain exsperence in life and try to find a answer one will come with time. |
