If someone has chrome rims, does that mean it's chrome polishing? What does chrome platting mean? |

My dad has them on his lexus. Chrome plating just means they dipped the original rim in chrome if it was metal before. I'm not sure about polishing but just buy chrome rim polish. Chrome rims are worth it only if you have two sets of rims. My dad puts the chrome rims on for the summer and has his stock rims for the winter. Ruskiy has chromed everything, ask him. Even his BLING BLING is chrome. But for real, if you have any potholes near you, dont get them. they easily crack. Plus, they are way heavier then cast aluminum or alloy or whatever, which means it will slow your car down more. Dipped in chrome is cheap and will look like shit if you dont really take care of them. |

lmao but um yea dont get him if u live up north which u do because they will get dirty in a second and u will be tired of cleaning them and chrome doesnt look good unless its clean. | ||
