You know, some successful business types might advise that if you wanted to pursue a writing/cooking career... you might want to actually write and/or cook. Teaching... would likely be for people looking to pursue a teaching career... that'd be like me becoming an automechanic to pursue my career as starting center fielder for the Boston Red Sox. Also considering the investment involved in getting a Master's degree (a requirement to teach... at least in this state) pursuing a career in teaching is extremely counter productive to pursuing a career in other fields that don't require nearly the same amount of investment. (like... becoming a writer... and or chef... careers most commonly obtained by... doing them...) Wolf... yes, some people need to do the shitty, thankless jobs that no one else wants but jesus, teacher??? Why not priest? At least that way you can have sex with young boys and they're less likely to tell on you, with the whole wrath of god card of your sleeve and all. You know what they say, those who can't do, consult. And those who really can't do, teach. I just think it shows an amazing lack of ambition/drive/motivation. Yep thats why we got lazy and dumb people for... its cool though... while they are gonna be teachers and troll and work all their life im gonna be retired by the age of 30, have a kid or two and spoil THE FUCK out of them. | ||

Teach after you have years of experience and don't need the job... that's when you're most valuable, when you actually have life lessons to impart... when you're fresh out of fuckin college, what the fuck do you know about the real world and how shit works? Nothing. Not a godamn thing. Now you're going to go teach people shit??? Does anyone see a continuing spiral of degradation of our education with this scenario? You shouldn't be able to teach anyone how to do anything unless you've done it for at least 15 years. And then create a vehicle in the corporate world for people wishing to get out of the rat race, to go and teach for a decent pay rate & improved, federally funded benefits. Not this fucking kids teaching kids bullshit, you wonder why the average IQ of this country is plummeting compared to others. It's because no one bothers to learn how to do things through experience... they take a course or read a fuckin book and all of a sudden they think they can consult and fuckin teach others how to do it... Pathetic. |
