If our IQ is "plummeting" then it sure as fuck isn't because of teachers not having enough experience. And did you ever think that teaching might be something he enjoys? Not everyone's goal in life is to be filthy rich. | ||

You gotta help your self before you help anybody else in this society....you gotta be sellfish thats how you make money. And then when you make money you can start helping people out. | ||

And yea, it makes perfect sense if I want to write or go into cooking. I can take night and summer courses for Culinary once I have a steady job. I can't afford it otherwise. Plus, I can write in my free time. |

IQ's are plummeting not because of the teachers but because how our American education system operates. You say a teacher needs 15 years experience before they start teaching? Well how do they get this experience without actually doing it? Some people are good at teaching and enjoy it, I rather doing something I love then be unhappy for the rest of my life. Teachers start over here making 45k a year, far more than what my father makes. They also have summers and holidays off, and have AMAZING health benefits. It's also one of the more secure jobs you can have. I don't see why that's so knock-able. Make fun of teachers Ruskiy but aren't they the reason you know most of the subject matter you do? |

You know I may be drunk but I coulda sworn IQ had to do with someone's ability to connect data together to solve problems. Now stop droppin' the little fuckers on their heads and we might get somewhere and maybe Wu should stop gettin' his cousin pregnant. Innate abilities are not affected by the aptitude of the teachers. I agree that doing something you love is paramount in life except when it is fiscally irresponsible to do so. In such cases, the life of those whom depend upon you become your highest concern. Your parents want nothing but the best they can give you and in turn you want nothing but the best for those you care for. Therefore you have to measure the degree of selfishness going into your choices...you know what fuck it, I'm not going to lecture anyone. A choice is just that, a decision you have made. Being the individual you are, it is not in my or anyone else's place to doubt your reasons for doing so. It is only the responsibility of those who care for you to object when it is their experience that a similar choice leads to heartache and misfortune. Sigh, there is no right or wrong because it is the individual who measures the success of their lives and the decision of those who come after to tread their own path or one that has already been cleared. I need a drink... |
