Don't mind these faggots, they don't know good music. Or their ideology is, "Bitch at bands who don't want people pirating their music." GOOD LOGIC. Personally St. Anger was a mediocre album, same with Loaded and Reloaded. But Death Magnetic was fucking AWESOME. One of their best. Please, do post pictures/videos/stories of the concert. I've always wanted to go to a concert myself. |

Stone Cold Crazy is the best cover-song in the history of music. I still have lingering respect for Metallica but it's been lingering since their self-titled. |

Here's some pics of the concert. the vids didn't turn out so good (as I only had a cell phone that could take video in 15 second intervals), but I will try to make a compilation later. Our view from the box seats were awesome. My cell phone doesn't have a zoom function so it looks further than it really was.  Sword playing their first song  I think this was when Metallica played Cyanide  They had some coffins with spotlights and strobes, that would drop down to the stage every once in a while    They had a sick lase show with red green and blue lasers (I think this was when they played One)   The night was awesome, even though we had to pay 42 bucks for a 6 pack of coors light, but really who can complain? Our box had it's own bathroom (very important), a mini fridge, bar, computer and 3 tv's (which were all turned off for the concert, so we couldn't watch the game, but our waitress kept us informed on the score). My friend Mike was in the nosebleeds, but we got him down to the section directly below us and dropped our tickets to him. Him, his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's parents (who are fucking awesome), came up to our box for the show (quite an upgrade). The tickets were $212 for those seats, but my buddy knows someone at the ticket office, so we got them for dirt cheap. When the concert was over and we were cheering for an encore, we started pounding on the scoreboard below us, man did that make a racket. Needless to say we got the encore, but about 5 different security guards showed up in our box and threatened to kick us out... So at the end of the concert we did it again lol. When it came time for us to go home (we took the train into boston and planned on taking it back), all the boards showed our train was on time for 12:10... but it never showed up. Eventually we got kicked out of the station and had to try and fight for a cab with all the other people from the metallica concert. It didn't work. So we went to a 7/11 (the bars were closed!) till we got kicked out, and started chatting it up with a homeless guy and some canadians. That's when the skechy crowd started to show up. Some wicked fucked up guy (must've been on extacy or acid) stumbled over to us and started asking.. no slurring.. if we had "poo-poo." Now I dunno if poo-poo is slang for crack, but he would not leave the homeless guy alone, he followed him around like a puppy dog. Then another fuck up showed up and started playing in the snow like a little kid. Full grown guy, in Boston, at 2:30 am, down on his knees playing in the snow like a little kid... drugs are bad kids. It took us till 3:00 am to get a ride out of town, the whole time we were just trying not to get shot. Edited Tue Jan 20 2009, 04:29AM |
