So I think i'm just gonna write this and just keep copying/pasting this in everyone's virus threads "I want the free and quick route" 0) run atfcleaner just to get rid of all temps in one shot found [here] 1) run SmitFraudFix in safe mode found [here] 2) run SDfix also in safe mode found [here] 3) run CWShredder found [here] 4) install/update/scan SpybotSD & AVG If problem still there: 5) install/run RemoveItPro trial will clean found [here] 5) Install/run HijackThis found [here] 6) Save log and send to ME!!! PM, email, aim w/e those sites usually take a day or two to get back to you. I can read it faster, after this we can go through the registry and i can tell you which keys to delete etc etc. "I want to pay for Antivirus" 1) Are you infected? Yes- Go buy Kaspersky, will tank EVERYTHING, even if there is no immediate removal for the virus/malware/spyware the patches will block off all communications to it. Hourly updates = pain in ass tho if you're rendering No- go DL AVG&SpybotSD and don't be a bitch, those work just as well since avg just steals norton's updates and Spybot focuses on rootkits. The combo is gud enough just keep them updated! I've got a lot of other goodies like brute force scripts and stuff but that should take care of 99% of whats out there. Anything else just give me a pm or find me on aim on on almost 24/7 **EDIT** Well, glad to see copy past doesn't work for the links to grab those softwares. so wat is the best antivirus for vista, i bought 100 dollar fucking norton antivirus and that shit slowed my computer down i tryed to return it but they wouldnt take so i just threw that shit away worst spend 100 dollars in my life..... could have bought an ounce of MARYJANE. talkin about weed.....http://www.buyblunts.net/xc-bs10.html very convinient since it got no guts comes with a fresh leaf and burns nice as fuck. I hate Norton. That shit sucks. I have ESET Smart security Business eddition, but I still managed to get infected. Kasperski is def the best out there, so long as you don't run programs that can't be interrupted once in a while during the updates ( like cha said, unless you're rendering this doesn't apply to you). Cha, I just wanna say those programs you posted are a life saver, especially RemoveItPro. It got rid of a trojan I've been trying to frag for a while now that I've just had to live with. I'm still infected with something, but I got a considerable amount of crap off my computer. | ||
