If this is correct, the following will be (27000*.07) + (x * .04) = (27000 * .06) (1890) + (.04x) = 1620 1890 = 1620 - .04x (1890 - 1620) = - .04x 270 = - .04x (270/.04) = -x 6750 = -x x = -6750 You're wrong about the "stuff you know" unless you think it's a negative answer. lolmath |

(27000)(.07) + X(.04) = (27000 + X)(.06) This will be a quadratic equation, one solution for X will be negative or otherwise "unrealistic". Ready? Go. 1890 + .04x = 1620 + .06x <-- just multiplied through 270 = .02x ..... Wait a minute... this isn't a quadratic equation lol... Ruskiy is right. =) |

kd you forgot to add x into the right side of your equation. That represents the investment on top of the $27,000 they already have invested, $27,000 is not the TOTAL investment, just how much they've invested thus far. P.S. these faggots chose a pussy investment vehicle... bonds and CD's??? lol 4% & 7%??? LoL homos. |
