Well, here it is; this month marks my one year anniversary on FTC… Four quarters and countless beers ago, after having played CS:S at a friend’s house many times, I finally purchased a copy of my very own. I joined FTC with my handle “Aborted Fetusâ€, which I have used for more than seven years now. Much to my chagrin, there was an admin playing (either Omni or Omega) who did not like my handle. Needless to say, I was banned because of my handle. But, please don’t weep for me; I was not a complete victim in the situation. As I recall, I think I told the admin to go fuck himself when he asked me to change my handle. Well, that was day one for me. That pretty much set the tone for the controversy that I would bring to the server for months to come. For those who remember, I used to have some of the nastiest sprays known to man. For me, when it came to sprays, the more perverse, suggestive, and, more importantly, openly gay, the better. My sprays used to be the things nightmares were made of. Men sucking cocks, man-on-man anal penetration and cum shots, to name a few. Actually, I’m getting turned on. I’ll be right back, let me go squeeze one out real quick. At any rate, the greatest thing, as I saw it, about the gay sprays, was having people tk me. People used to tk me round after round for my sprays. For most people, that would really suck, but, as an admin, it’s fun being able to entice someone to tk you when, unbeknownst to him, you’re an admin and can lay down the heavy hand of God on his ass. It’s a lot like fishing: you throw out the bait, wait for a bite, then reel him in and gut his ass. As an interesting side note, one of the people I banned for tking me was Wu, who, later on, would become the first person I nominated into the FT clan. Then there was the Bubble Goose. Goddamn, where do I even start with him? Well, let me say that I used to hate the Goose. To date, I am sure that I have punished him more than any other single player. I used to hate his constant CT spawn camping, and I let him know that fact by freezing, blinding, teleporting, slaying, slapping and anything else I could think of. Since then, however, I not only supported his being in the clan, I also recommended him for lead admin on FTC. He is now my Daddy Goose. He knows how to make my “no-no spot†feel real good. When I finally made it to forums, the controversy continued. In my first post I suggested we make a clan, MFM (Men For Men) -[link]- , which would be an openly homosexual clan. I reveled in the controversy and laughed myself to tears at some of the responses. Again, as the King of Controversy, people knew, and hated, the name “Aborted Fetusâ€. It was great. My first thread had 28 replies and almost 300 views. I mean, damn, how many threads get 28 replies? Very few. To achieve that on my very first thread was an honor. Unfortunately, not everyone found the humor in it. Since then, we have created a pretty solid community and a great clan. Though the past year has been rough at times (and it may get bumpy again), I have had a great time getting to know each of you during the past year, and I look forward to another great year. I am pleased to call you all my friends. It’s nice to know that, as regulars, we have bonded and all have each other’s backs. Even though I may bitch about any and all of you, just know that I only do so because I value you as a member of the community. Try to find a thread I have made bitching about anyone who didn’t matter. I know that I can be extremely disagreeable, argumentative and dick-headed at times (especially when I’m hammered), but know that when the smoke clears, I am glad that we are a part of this community together. Yea... I and Fetus have not always seen eye to eye, even though he tried to get me kicked from the clan I still like him I enjoy playing on FTC with him he is a great player and all around fun guy I don’t know if he still hates me or still considers me a douche, but if so I still like him |
