Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Well, I just got mine the other day, so I figured I'd do a review. Could we have an iPhone killer on our hands? THE GOOD: This little device is a powerhouse. Some of its features include a free gps (with data plan), a web browser, an app store, an accelerometer, and a video recorder that takes movies in dvd quality (720p). Not to mention all of these can be accessed through voice commands. The gps - this was one of the main selling points for me, and it does not disappoint. Unlike other phones that refresh and "skip" across maps, the animation on this is nice and smooth, almost as good as a garmin. It is still in beta however, so on occasion it has you go some wacky route, but hopefully this will be worked out when it is officially released. The web - well iPhone set the standard for this one, and again the droid is able to stay on par with that. Unfortunately there is no multi-touch support, so iUsers will miss their pinch function to zoom, but a quick double tap provides the same functionality. The apps - Although, not as diverse (yet) as the iPod app store, all the big names are still there. Personally I think everyone should have Shazam, Bar Code Reader, and the Pandora apps. One thing the store has over iPod though is it is open source, which hopefully means we'll be seeing a lot more games from smaller studios soon. Another thing I like is actually having access to the battery and internal memory (and trust me you need it, but I'll get into that later). The droid even comes with a 16GB micro sd card, that can obviously be upgraded as needed. Also the fact that it is a verizon phone means it actually gets service and 3g where I live (in the woods). THE BAD: Well having tickled your pickle so far, it's time to be a buzzkill. It crashes... a lot. Sometimes even making you wonder if your phone will ever be working again (that's where the battery access comes in). But it is a brand new operating system (android 2.0) so hopefully some updates will fix that. Another thing for me is visual voicemail was one of my key selling points, but after I played with it a bit, found out there was a monthly charge through verizon. Not really the phone's fault, but really verizon? I have to sign up for a premium plan only to find out something as simple as voicemail is an extra monthly fee!? Lastly, sometimes the accelerometer is unresponsive to when I tilt it on it's side. Doesn't seem so bad, but I'm wondering how that's going to play out when I buy the car dock for it, which has it on its side all the time. THE VERDICT: Well it appears we finally have a device that will give the iPhone and AT&T's stupid plans a run for their money. Aside form the crashing, the hardware supports the droid interface very well (no lagging when scrolling through rich content). Also a break from Verizon's proprietary technology is nice, so I don't have to buy their shitty and expensive headphones to listen to my music, or not create my own ringtones from my own music. If you're looking to make a decision between an iPhone, the Blackberry Storm2, or any other smart phone, I'd say the droid is definitely the one to go with. |

Does it have a 12 meg camera on it. Does it have gesture controls? Can it be used to stream media via bluetooth/wifi to your own network? Can you vpn in to your network from any wifi hotspot you can manage? Can you use it as a remote for your ps3? Sony Satio <--- all that plus all the azn honies'll think you're banging. lol, thats cool toasters. Btw just out of curiosity since its a verizon phone, does it have a slot for sim cards or no? |

no, no sim cards for verizon. thats one thing I always hated. cause now i have to build my contacts up again since nothing but my pics transfered over from my old phone 9the piece of shit it was). Yes it does have bluetooth, so the connectivity is there. the camera is 5MP, still better than most out there. I'll check to see if there is a remote app, if not I'm sure someone will eventually make one. Not sure about the vpn, but most phones that access wifi will allow you to get on vpn. whether or not the company you're trying to vpn to wants you to connect to their network is another story.

I think the droid wanted to do more than it could handle. Even the fucking commercials are all "we're the iphone but better!!" Really? Prove, because I've been using it lately and having the SAME exact problems as you, except mine doesn't crash as much as yours. I've only had to reset it once. However, my NEW favorite phone is the Sprint Hero. Seriously contemplating switching carriers. This phone can't even do everything, but I love it's response time and it hasn't crashed on me fucking ONCE. You work at Bestbuy too, don't you? I work in the mobile department but I think other departments can test the phones too SEX |

Ok, just got back from exchanging my phone, and my god does it ever make the difference. Not a single crash or hiccup so far (the other one crashed while i was still setting up my service contract in the store lol). I swear, this one is faster two. Just got to watch out for those lemons i guess.

So is the Droid able to have screen-position-sensitive (I don't know if there's a more technical name) apps like the iPhone? Because if it does, I'd totally get it once more bugs get fixed and I am able to switch after my "contract" with my LG Chocolate. I was even thinking about JUST getting an iPod Touch for the apps and keeping a normal phone, but this is starting to make me think otherwise (I don't think it's possible to change services to get an iPhone for me right now, anyways). You don't fucking need 12 mega pixels on a shitty phone camera. More mega pixels does not equal better pictures.

More mega pixels does not equal better pictures. able to record 720p movies, has 2x optical, actual xenon flash, able to do sweeping panoramic shots. shush buddha, don't knock the phone just because you can't find anyone to import it to north america. and no more mega pixels does not equal better pictures, but it equals better digital zoom quality when reproduced on a 4x6 |
