I honestly don't remember. when I was like 9 or 10 I me and my friends starting getting together and lanning for CS: 1.4* and as soon as the price dropped for Source and I had the monies, I got it. Played for about 2 years with The Ruby Square clan, which had like trs_aim_churches deathmatch which was sick, and I don't really remember what else they had but they weren't such a warming clan, they were really cold to new members. so after that I had a few people in TRS who I played with when we weren't in our server, and a kid named trs. | Palindrome (pali) who showed me the office server that he played on a lot and wanted to show me. So we get to playing, and after Pali left, much like MadV, got talking to Caine, one of the NICEST people in the clan, and he told me to check out the forums, and the rest was history. been through everything after that As much as I miss my childhood, I miss the times we had like crazy. Even looking at Cookie's signature and seeing DIM's name really makes me sad that we don't have a quarter of the members we used to have come around... but, I guess such is life. I've been having troubles with my compy but I will try and get people in our servers as much as possible anymore. who knows, maybe if we get enough activity and we lose our egotistical asshole attitude (glas4d) and start being nice to new members, we might even start buying servers again if donations roll in. Or, I'm sure we are all at a point in time where we have decent jobs and can donate 20 quid, but, that is for the future to decide. *it was 1.4 because we modded it before 1.6 came out, so it isn't 1.6 persay, it's 1.4. If I can get the video of how young and fat I was when we started playing, I'll post it. |

riot radio was your brother maddog? i remember him i started i think in late 2004 a couple friends had bought hl2 and css came with it... i was over one of their houses and he was playing it. i thought it was stupid at first cause i was on iceworld (now my fav map) and the start timer delay pissed me off. eventually i caved in january 05 i think? around then and started playing. never was very good so i tryed to learn surf... took me forever just to to egypt. came along FTS during the summer and they helped me get better... pope, turtle, kate, prism, narf. the atmosphere was amazing and the server was always full. those were the days... |

Played 1.6 Played Source glass maps, then a guy a met asked if I tried surf, said no. Came to FTS and never left. Well after I got the hang of surf. xD |

I don't even remember how I started playing here. I started playing Counter Strike 1.6 in like, 2002-ish. I got Source on release, and have been playing it ever since. Back when I played, Alex was still Alcohol Powered, Aborted Fetus still played, Jessica played, Sunshine, all them. I guess some people just don't see CSS as addicting and fun as I do. | ||

I also don't remember. It's been like 6 years... I've been playin CS since 1.3 tho, when you could still get grenade headshots. I found FT likely cause it was low ping and populated. The rest as they say, is history. |

beh, started out playing CS back when it was close beta ~1999. Yep, such a good little azn I was back then As far as FT goes, there were three people that drew me to the server. TasteColdSteel who logged a good 30+ hours a week in FT and was always there to play with. And AP and goose....who for the most part normally just screamed 'who the fuck is running around with a tmp' |
