Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

So I am going to be buying a car in the next couple months and need some input. These are the cars I am narrowing in on. 4th Gen (1997-2005) VW Golf Gti or a VR6 Acura Integra 1993-2001 Toyota Supra 1986-1992 (thinking it will be too old) 240sx 1995-1998 1998-2002 Impreza RS 2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma At the end of the day I will be putting on a bike rack and ski rack on the roof of the car. I would like a car with some room in the back for all my shit. But I also want something that is just givn'r Right now I am stiffly leaning towards the gti. Let me know what you guys think and post your cars you have now. (Post cars that you payed with your own money. I don't want to see what your parents let you drive.) Edited Thu Apr 29 2010, 11:14PM |

Honda accord/civic 92-99 BMW 3 series 90-95 toyota celica subaru impreza are some more cars to add to your list that would look a little more fitting with a ski rack |

Maybe if they had an engine swap with a b18 bmw too old and expensive to maintain. I can't believe I forgot about imprezas. I was looking hard into 98-2002 impreza 2.5Lrs. They are pretty rare but I would love one. Edited Thu Apr 29 2010, 11:18PM |

Impreza because subaru make good cars Same reason for the VW What do the miles look like on either one of these? EDIT: My car, 210k miles, got it for my birthday last year. My dad apparently bought it for next to nothing. We had to get a fuel pump fixed and the paint is peeling but over all it is a pretty nice first car. '94 Volvo 940 Turbo (Yeah...turbo...) I put maybe $600 into it and sold for $2700 |

SUBARU IMPREZA. they already have racks to make putting ski racks on it really easy, they are really good long lasting cars, and it's got plenty of room for your shit. Reading your entire post, I ignored everything and just kept thinking Subaru Impreza. It would be perfect for you, and you know that. And even if you didn't get that, the GTI is your next best bet. I think the GTI would last longer, because Transmissions and gear boxes go fast in subarus (5 subarus for my family in 7 years - 100,000 miles later in all of them and the transmissions and/or gear boxes have gone) and it's something your online tutorials can't do, lol. Subara Impreza VW GTI those should be your choices. |
