Today a dear friend of mine has passed away. I am particularly sad because we knew this was coming sometime soon, and as a mutual decision, decided to put him on the do not revive list. I will miss the good times we had together, and will forever remember the fun we had playing games. In your latest years we started to grow apart, and the only time I really saw you was to seed new torrents. But you were still always there for me. You may not have been the quietest thing in the world, with your breathing more like a wheezy jet engine than a quiet whisper. But then again, it was never about your charm or looks, but what you could do that interested me. I am talking of course about my dear friend zd8000 He suffered a massive Hard Drive failure last night, and even though I have the tools to fix him, I just can't bare to use my solid state drive on such an ancient piece of hardware (he had a petium 4 for Christ sake... and not because he was a cheap computer either, I paid $2200 at the time). Luckily my windows home server runs nightly backups, so I really didn't lose any data. It's been time for me to move on for a while now I guess. It's also nice to not hear the constant droning of intake fans as well. Goodbye friend. |

I had gotten one for my sister when she graduated elementary school lol... Yes, those fuckers were expensive. Im sure it will be missed and im also sure you will have no problems finding a replacement workhorse for your seeding. |
