I'm gonna ask you guys cause I love y'all niggas and I can't really talk about it to my irl friends without it turning into a huge drama wheel and shit. I'm seeing a girl who goes to OSU, which is just shy of two hours away from Cincy. She's a bomb ass girl, I like her a lot, and I don't really want to lose her. She's like the highest caliber of girl you can find. But, she lives two hours away. This summer, the only times we've been able to see each other are Monday through Wednesday. I'll drive to her place after work on monday, get there at like midnight, and leave early afternoon on Wednesday. Or opposite if she comes to visit me. Operative statement: Summer. School starts for both of us towards the end of September, and I have ZERO idea of how we'll be able to see each other. I never thought I'd say it, but I want to see my girlfriend more than 3 days a week. That is not possible when we both work two jobs, go to school full time, and live two hours away. Not to mention, I have never been this badly strapped for cash in my life as is, and you can imagine that it is never easy on my wallet when we meet up. We brought this discussion up a couple times, and I always just said, "We'll work it out." I have no idea exactly how to say that there is no way we'll work it out, outside of her transferring to Cincinnati. Plus, we have some mutual friends, and I don't want to deal with a messy break-up and I certainly don't want to antagonize myself towards my friends. On top of that, I just introduced her to my Mom last week, which I consider a pretty big step and a sign of loyalty. I don't want to make her feel like I got her hopes up, and I don't want my mom to lecture me about throwing away a perfect girl (again). I'm really torn up about this. I didn't want this to be just a summer fling. |

I understand your position, man. It is rough. Talk to her about possibly transferring or you transferring (Although, OSU is such a fuckin' crap ass school, fuck OSU.) The distance shit sucks, it really does. So does not seeing your girlfriend more than three days a week. But at the same time, not seeing each other all of the time makes you only want to see each other more rather than getting sick of each other. I dunno how you're going to solve this man. If I graduated now, I would set up a paypal account and send you 50 dollars every month to see your girlfriend. Haha. She's real cute, bro. Really cute. I would hate to lose that as well. |

Well even then, the novelty of it is gone. Now when we talk, all I focus on is "Can't wait" and "Next time" and everything else. There is hardly a present moment. The last night we're together in a week, all I can think is that she's leaving tomorrow. |

If she's your down ass chick then she won't leave over something neither of you have control over. If it were me, I'd do something ballsy like save up and skip out on shit for a week(work/school) and just go to see her. That should keep shit alive until winter break if you time it right. | ||
