He's coming to Penn State! I'm not sure if they'll have a Q&A, but I'd like to have a few (at least one) question(s) ready to ask him when he does come. I'd like to either ask a question about religion or black holes (because both interest me)... Right now I'm thinking of asking something along the lines of: "How is it possible that light has no mass? And since it has no mass, why is it affected by gravity?" "It is said that a black hole has infinite density because atoms break down and all of the mass is at a singularity. When atoms break down via nuclear fission, an insane amount of energy is released. Why does this not happen in a black hole? (Or does it?)" My physics/astrophysics knowledge isn't the best, but I'd like to understand it as best I can before I go in so that I 1. Don't make an ass out of myself asking a question whose answer I could have found out on the internet and 2. that I ask a question that's relevant and thought provoking... Let me know your thoughts. |

i love penn state, the campus is huge and beautiful, and the basketball competition at their gym is one of the best, not to mention one of the best workout facilities around. I make yearly trips to visit some good friends that go there and should be there pretty soon before the semesters over., Ill keep my eyes open for you , Dave lol @ nostie reading this post in terror... |
