Sorry, been busy. Anyway, XDA has your back homie. To root: (one click) -[link]- Some roms: -[link]- Also, some more info (links inside the link): -[link]- Since the droid 2 has been out a while, I'm pretty sure this one click root is safe, literally just follow the instructions. The t-bolt was a lot harder than this, and that was easy. As for roms, I don't know much about it, I provided a link that says "all working roms for droid 2" but it only has 5ish, there has to be more, since the t-bolt has about 20 already, and it's only a month old. Look into cyanogen mod (my fav OG droid rom). And good luck, let us know how it works out. |

Looks like cyanogen never got around to building a legitimate rom for Droid 2. But to root, 100% do the one click, it's easy. After that get Titanium Backup and Clockwork Rom Manager. Once having those, and giving them root access, putting a custom rom is easier than nostie. |
