Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

ok so we all know Canada sucks, like lol Canada, I can't remeber the last time i said "Canada" in conversation but what exactly pisses you off about canada? is it the annoying "eh?" The Canadian attitude of carefreeness that they all seem to have? well whatever it is, post em here. For me, it was when I went to a local grocery store in Canada visiting my cousins. The cashier had jus rang up my total for a some unimportant items Cashier: "your total is 15.50, plus .60 cents, 16.10" Out of sheer wonder I asked "what was the 60 cents for?" Cashier: " oh the bags" ..... "Oh".... lol, they charge you for the bags in Canada. they actually go out of their way to charge you for the plastic bags. I said something to my cousin who lives there and he jus responded " lol yea, you didnt know?" but overall Canada's gay, etc etc |

I like Canada better than Ron Paul, but I like Ron Paul better than a 20 cent tax on plastic bags in my state: -[link]- | ||

If you like Canada better then Ron Paul, and Ron Paul stands upon the principles that made this country... then i guess your best bet would be to move to Canada =/ No offense <3 |

^Troll. I don't hate Canada, it's just easy joke to make because people don't give a second thought about what happens there. |

Thanks, Glitch. No offense received here. Not yet, at least. I actually lived in Ontario for a few years when I was very young, but I was too young to appreciate it. I would love to go back but probably just for vacation. That said, according to libertarian principles, if I felt it would be in my own self-interest to live and work there then why not? The irony of why my parents (who are both American--possibly more American than you, har har!) moved back to the States was, and I quote my mom during a phone call years ago, "[was] because you and your brother were growing up Canadian." But I digress! You posted an apropos of nothing "Ron Paul for 2012" reply to this thread and I felt obliged to throw a little bait in the fish tank. As soon as I figure out an appropriate forum then I will start a thread to discuss the good doctor and his plans to restore America to the glory (of the 19th century?) |

Im consumed by politics as of late... stressing myself out. Even my closest friends are yelling at me because it's all i talk about. Ive become passionate about this like i became passionate about building computers amongst other things. I got information overload cuz im re-reading up on American history (mainly the last 100 years), ive taken a class on Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, Indonesian history as well... and im taking a US foreign policy class in 3 weeks (Starting from 1945 until present day). Couple that with politics and the corruption since 1913... and add in current affairs (Iran, Russia, China etc...). My head is gonna explode. And I just bought 6 books i plan on reading over the next couple months. Edited Fri Jan 13 2012, 09:48AM |
