Actually... i was thinking of the idea of bringing this clan back to life with the launching of CS:GO If nobody here wants to host a server, then me and my roommate were talking earlier today actually and thinking we would both host one. If that is the case, then i would wanna get in touch with kremit to get superuser access to this website so i can revamp the forums for FTC and change some rules around for the server and ways to get into the clan. If there was ever a time to do it, this would be it. Any thoughts or opinions? |

Nah, anyone who stuck around would get grandfathered in and anyone who feels they want to donate a few bucks to the server to keep it going... i guess i would make you a member and low level admin... I got several ideas. Taking a few pointers from previous FTC servers and SuddenDeath servers.... (and NinjaGirlRachel) |

b4 we even think of starting up servers i think we need to figure out whos around and who would play. If the past few days of forum activity is any indication of the activity the server will have from the clan in general then i think the server idea is a flunk at this point in time. Soo "Calling all Cars" i think its time to search down any living member of this clan and let them know that were actually thinking of starting things up. I believe we need to personally contact through steam, aim, xbox, fb, or any other means and propose to them the idea of starting this clan up again. does anybody else agree with me? |

I agree, and I think you're on to something here. That said, I don't think clan membership, or whatever passes for it based on forum activity, should be the only incentive to get involved. Contacting people who may be interested in actually playing is certainly a good idea, and we should expand that to anyone you know who seems like they may be interesting in playing. Friends, coworkers, people you go to school with, people you shoot heroine with, etc. are all good leads. It might be a good idea to set some goals like having X amount of people pledge to show up for an event. Then set a secondary goal of requiring X+10 people show up for a second event. The numbers may be meaningless but it gives us something to work towards, and it may be an indicator of whether this effort would be a total flop. Trying to reboot the clan is a cool idea but I'm still interested in helping facilitate a CS:S reunion. The two things are not mutually exclusive. |
