Are you interested in trading stocks? let me know, I've put some money, a week ago, in stock symbols, HOV, and SKY, and soon CPIC (84% yield), Anyone want to open a scottrade account? If so go to a branch, and give them my account number (#): 72628490 and then you'll get 3 free trades (Worth is $21), and you don't need any money to open an account, only driver license and alien registration number, or citizen number. If there's anyone else investing, please give me suggestions on what other company is out there that's good. I would even consider buying penny stocks, if you can give suggestions. Thanks, |

Sounds like you need the help of NoSkill, sadly he hasn't been around lately that I'm aware of. He gave me lots of good suggestions on books to check out. | ||

my old roomate invested in FORD back when the market crashed and it was at $2 a share and now i think he made a pretty penny but the only solid company i know that's worth investing in is PIER 1 IMPORTS | ||

General suggestion with regard to trading stock? Don't trade stock... I'm a financial advisor and have been doing it a few years now and unless you have about 100 000$ to invest and are willing to lose large sums of it along the way you wont be properly diversified and probably wont make money. Out of probably 100 clients i've met who had stocks I'd say ONE of them actually made a return over 15 years. And it was 3%. A SHITTY mutual fund will beat that any day of the week and will require less effort. Laketon Dividend fund, London Capital Dividend fund, GWLIM Real estate fund. All 3 of those are lower risk but average around 7% return over 10 years. |

Not sure if everyone realizes but when I'm talking about return over a period of time its AVERAGE yearly return over 10 years. So if you invest 10 000$ at 7% it'll be 20 000$ in 10 years. | ||
