Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Kinds worried this economic crisis could be getting outta hand I started this in the chatbox, but we could take it here From my understanding, last year a 2.0 trillion dollar budget deficit was reached in mid June of 2011, and around this time a "super committee" of the most capable congressman, senators, representatives, etc was formed to evaluate the government's budget, and the ultimate goal was to cut at least 1.8 trillion dollars worth of spending in an effort to cut the debt. The task was to be accomplished by December of 2011, and if they failed, massive budget cuts would occur around June of 2012. Well, they failed to find 1.8 trillion dollars, and as a result I'm hearing they are canceling pretty important democratic, social programs (when originally democrats AND republicans were supposed to share the brunt of the damage, but now only democrats seem to be). Programs like meals on wheels for the elderly, poverty shelters, and some others. Overall I'm still looking into this issue but I just wanted to bounce the topic around. P.S. I was watching this video, THE CORPORATION, an older work of Michael Moore, and it brings up a lot of interesting points (recommended in my opinion) . One thing he says sticks to my head when hes interviewing the CEO of Nike is "What would your life really be like if you lost just 1 billion dollars and that money went to a good cause? Just one billion were talking about" If you think about it the richest sit on funds that aren't really used while some people really have to struggle... Edited Tue May 15 2012, 02:00AM |

Homeboy wrote ... If you think about it the richest sit on funds that aren't really used while some people really have to struggle... It's late and i will look more into this tomorrow...but the real question you have to ask yourself is... "Why do people have to struggle?" As in... wtf is the root problem why the lower class and middle class are absolutely struggling nowadays to make ends meet? Why is the middle class becoming the lower class, the lower class becoming the poor, and the rich getting richer? Why are these democratic programs failing and becoming a burden? Why is social security becoming useless and barely able to keep elderly afloat? Why is SS gonna disappear soon anyway? Why should Nike have to give up hard earned money? Answer is they don't. They earned it. We buy Nike right? We gave them the money. Why is life becoming too expensive? Follow the money. It is a monetary policy problem...linked into our foreign policy. It is a fundamental problem...one at the root of our country. Mark my words... meltdown is coming. Me and Timmy already know it and are preparing. It's inevitable. Edited Tue May 15 2012, 04:33AM |

If you're seriously concerned about this (and you should be). My only advice would be to purchase, read and study the following book. Once you have mastered the content within, you will have a firm understanding of what type of skills/knowledge you will need to acquire to be "prepared". This is in no way a joke, I am 100% serious, good luck. -[link]- |

I believe that the quality of people's lives is directly correlated to how pleasant they are for everyone else to look at. Just tuck your shirt in and wear a belt and the universe will reward you. case and point: malnourished black kids are hard to look at. black people in general are hard to look at. it's why they tint their caddy windows, because they figured out the universal system.
