Okay we have a few options, all of which I am willing to do for us in preparation for CS:GO 1) keep website like it is with just essential updates 2) update site, looks, and information on fishtankclan.com for CSGO 3) (faster site) Transfer out of this site into a pure forum system (no posts lost, but some content would be) Anyone who has relevant info, comments, questions, ill be on steam the next few days while I get this site back into shape  -kremit |

This site is cluttered badly. I would get rid of chatbox, other unnecessary things; have threads bump to top when there is a comment so dead threads and spam don't stay on the top page. |

I like the chatbox, cause it's a place we can post the shit that isn't thread worthy. Otherwise we'd have a ton of shitty threads about shitty youtube videos and goatse. An updated look would be nice, but the current look is classic FT. I think as long as the site is updated and tuned up, and looks attractive to any potential new users, we should be good. |

If the existing posts could make it over to a forum-only site (option 3) then it might be worth a try. That said, I think option 2 is probably the safest option. I wouldn't mind seeing a new theme/skin, too. | ||

#2 (FT Classic style) And to be honest, it works just fine. Don't fix it if it isnt broken. - Keep the black skin (or a dark skin in general...easier on the eyes). - Keep chatbox and if possible make it real time because everyone frequently uses it (and i dont have to be spammed on facebook chat). - Keep the image gallery for all that is wonderful in this world (maybe clean it up a bit...like some of the girl lingerie pics). - Change if possible some pictures or add more for example the banner could change depending on the forum being viewed. The style could be updated. - I have noticed that the front page seems to be the most viewed with people rarely going into the actual forums unless to create a new thread. My idea is this: Get rid of the front page threads. Create a new sub-forum for "News Only" threads. These should be the only threads to appear on the front page. It could have anything to do from welcoming a new member to discussing an update to the game in general. Expand the chatbox since there will be less clutter. This forces users to actually go into the individual forums and somewhat new threads do not have to die so quickly. EDIT: Also, if possible.. unless it is too much work, could there be a mobile version? We all have smartphones nowadays and im sure it would make this website a lot more active throughout the day if there were a way to easily interact with it via smartphone. I remember reading somewhere that it was a simple few lines of code to get it to work with the app "Tapatalk" which i frequently use for certain Droid forums. Just throwing that out there.
