Last night I ordered a 10 slot server from Gameservers.com located in New York. I had no idea what kind of server it would be (I was drunk) but for just over 5 bucks it wasn't much of a risk. Vectorman suggested a fun server, with random maps and no real objective. So that's what I decided to do. So I need some map suggestions. I'm thinking some glass maps, Scoutzknives, and Breakout_v2 (some of you will remember this one), and maybe some climb and minigame maps. I want your suggestions though, since this is a fun server we can have pretty much any map you want. However, no surf (with the exception of xiv), stock maps, or zombie maps. I won't put the FT name on the server unless you guys want it, I really don't care either way. Once I get more maps on there I'll post the IP so we can start playing. I only have the server for a month, and if people want to keep it around through August I wouldn't mind renewing it for a second month. Give me some suggestions. This is a fun server, so lets get some really cool unorthodox maps. |

It can be moved to somewhere in the central part of the country. I don't want to leave you west coast folks hanging on a bad connection |

You are free to do what you will as it is your server, but I will warn you that implementing the plugins for those types of servers is not as easy as it sounds. I, too, have rented my server from Gameservers.com. Their console is alright, but so far as recommended by Alex, we have been using the FTP for configuration. Scoutzknives is a good map to go, I can't really tell you about the others because I have no experience in any of them, more likely because I don't care for that kind of game. AWP maps are fun, perfect for awp whores. I know I vamped up my scouting skills that way. |

And I've been using FTP for all my configs and haven't really had any problems except I can't get sv_alltalk to remain on for whatever reason. It's probably something stupid conflicting with it |
