I would also put forth the idea that exact hours aren't really relevant anyway. Would we really vote someone in who has the bare minimum? I doubt the vote would pass. Those requirements are more of a guideline to interested players on what it'll take to join. Atleast 50 hours, etc. I think we'll be fine just ball parking it until something comes along. |

It works well for hours. I couldn't care less about other stats. To own the server, who ever can change the name has to set it to something they tell you, and click claim and it'll attach to that account. Then simply change it back! | ||

Alex i checked out that website. I created an account but i cannot link the server to it completely because i cannot change the name of the server for it to link. Check it out when you have time. | ||

random idea i am posting in the quick reply before i forget it. bare with me what if we used a system to 'vouch' for player time on servers. let me run an example to get the creative process flowing, like my period. Hypothetically GO is live and we all play it. the tracking is FUBAR and we dont want to over-invest effort in a data system. I want to vote dzebra in FT. In the voting thread i need [some] voters to not just vote yes but also 'vouch' for server time played together. the 'vouching' can work like the 'vote' does. ever vouch is a static 5 hours of play. (meaning each member can vote and vouch once in a proposal).....just thinking out loud.. |

Woah, I still have an account with gametracker! I claimed ownership of the server, but I don't see any integration of player data as far as SteamIDs are concerned. Might take a bit of tinkering (and sobriety) More details tomorrow. |

Integration of 'vouching' for potential FT members with official FT votes will probably not be possible; however, a custom plugin and/or log processor to record vouching (plus player hours) is definitely possible. The hours part was sort of what I was thinking when I first made this thread, but your idea of players vouching for each other is a nice touch. Thank you for suggesting this!
