Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

does not work properly on CSGO

It worked just fantastic on CSS

But now, when I talk, I get responses like "Bandito, are you talking through a vacuum cleaner?" and "Holy god my ears are melting".

Someone help me figure it out? I've lowered my output volume, don't know what else I can do.

mine wirks better in GO. Is it a USB mic? If not, try updating your sound drivers and messing around with your settings there.

Rusty has a good solution. I currently use my 10 year old Plantronics DSP-500 USB headset. The USB makes it easy to adapt to everything.

If you use a simple audio jack then update your drivers. If that doesnt work... then try a potato as that might work better.

I am using a USB webcam/microphone. It's actually pretty nice. Like I said, it works great on Source and everything else, but it fucks up with CSGO.

So, the problem is likely on the GO end of things.
