Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Soooo I know I've been a ghost.......I have no excuses Sooo I graduated from Hofstra last may and since then, like I mentioned before, I have struggled with this League of legends addiction. Towards graduating I barely met my academic goals of having a 3.0 GPA and I feel that damn game has much to blame. Atleast I got my degree in Accounting/Business management w/ pre CPA exam certification. Anywho, I started working at a bank, which was a hellhole. I will forever have a new profound respect for people working in a bank, because the job is sooo fucking shitty. Everyday is astressful, you have to count thousands of dollars to the penny daily, sometimes more, and even the smallest missing coin can become an issue. You deal with people's stupidity, and ughh.. the days just never end... I worked there for about 4 months, until in september I told them I'm going to quit. For some reason management held about 3 meetings to try and get me to stay, but the pay barely covered HALF of my student loans so I had to dip out of there. Also, did I mention how much i disliked the job? Left in september, took alot shitt for it from my family, who came from nothing, and tried bsing me about the value of a hard -earned dollar...yada yada yada... Tried to get myshit together, but finding another job took awhile and was a bit longer than I expected. I basically ignored this talk of a poor job market mostly because I graduated from a decent degree with a relevant degree, but it still wasn't easy. ended up quiting league of legends for a good 2 1/2 months (between september and early december) until I found new job, that I enjoy alot as a Fund Accountant ( google it) and still currently work there. The commute is far, but I love my co-workers, my job is always interesting, and a little informative. Theres also this sorority of girls from hofstra that work there, as well as some of the prettiest girls ever. We started moving to this building across the street in order to expand properly as our funds keep growing, things are looking cool so far, but this week with the move has been hectic. Overall, my job is basically my life, and I am going to try to quit this damn addictive game, which would be attempt like 6 lol (eventhough theymade this next season a little awesome). Sorry, no stories of any sexcapades though, been trying to be somewhat responsible lately, saving my money and planning out a future of some sort. uhhh I guess thats it.... |

I have been addicted to it a lot longer than you have. This May will be three years going strong. A few more years and I've matched my CS:S addiction. To keep the fire alive, I make smurfs, get to level 30, repeat. It's like beating your favorite video game over and over again, only it takes almost a month or longer each time. Don't leave the dark side, MadV. Stay on the dark side. Summon with me. |

Don't leave the dark side, MadV. Stay on the dark side. Summon with me. Knightrider I wanna say something very personal I haven't told just about anyone. Everytime I quit League of Legends, I always come back. Not because I want to come back, butI need to, PHYSICALLY. Let me explain. 2 weeks ago I went to work, and my boss explained to me about how I should record Foreign unrealized and realized gain. and I got it in two seconds. Never had to talk to her again about it. Around this time, nothing changed, I was the same me, who plays about 2 hours of league a day. This week, I decided to try quiting again cold turkey, starting from monday. And everytime time I do, I get these weird pressure headaches. These pressure headaches affect my ability to focus on tasks. So today, my boss was teaching me about booking option trades, and for some reason, I just couldn't grasp it. It took me so long to grasp and wrap my head around it, I feel a little worried about how the day went. The problem was everytime I went said to myself "focus" I thought about the discomfort of the pressure headache, and lost focus, even missing words she said. This happens everytime I quit league for a certain amount of time. I get these constant head pressure headaches that never go away until I play league. It went so bad that in the 2.5 month break I talked about I went t to the doctor and got an MRI, which came back negative, implying its a mental thing, something I might be doing subconsciously. But when I don't play, I'm more inclined to hang out with people more and enjoy others company. Its a hell I've been going through for about 2 years now, with no clear hint as to whether to quit or not. Today has me feeling so bad though I'm just gonna play, because I really don't want a day like today to happen again. Any thoughts? p.s. I'm extremely serious about this, this reason here is actually the main reason why you guys haven't heard much from me, I've been really struggling with this. Its borderline scary and a reason why I don't talk about LoL much or promote the game to others in case it may do the same them. |

This is also affecting my love life. If I'm talking to girls around the time that I am playing, all I think about is League and converstations become forced because I know nothing about current things happening and only want to talk about League. When I'm not playing and I'm talking to girls, I don't give two shits about what there saying because my headache takes up my entire focus. |

Also... you may have an actual physical addiction to it. I had the same problems with WoW. If i didnt play... certain things manifested in a physical way... probably has something to do with your bodies dopamine production. It goes all out of wack when you fuck with an addiction. It goes away after some time though...just like all addictions. Sometimes months...sometimes 6 months. And i too had problems focusing on daily things ranging from love life and daily events because all i could think about was the game. I wanted to talk about it...i wanted to think about it. It sucked. But today i read on reddit that there is a new study that says potentially...people with addictions or ADHD live longer than most other people due to the way their bodies produce dopamine. Super... |

I feel bad that you're struggling and all but video game addiction is one step up from porn addiction on the retarded ass celibate ladder. At least get a cool addiction, like cigarettes or alcoholism or heroin. In seriousness though I haven't had a cigarette in 9 months and it sucks at first but you gotta wade through the pressure headaches and shit. Ween yourself off, gradually. Don't play every day, break the habit slowly, and then choke it off entirely on a random day. Also, if your job performance slips while you're conquering your addiction, tell them you're getting sober from an alcohol addiction. They literally can't fire you if you're getting clean. It's in the Disability Act I think. |
