I know its a day after September 11th, but i never got to get on last night. Im really glad to see this link as for the fact that i was actually thinking of making a thread on this. Well being in Canada i dont think it affected nearly as many people then who lives in United States, but honestly it does affect me due to the fact that one month before the towers fell i had actually been in NY and got to see the Towers and saw how great they were, getting to go on the roof was an amazing experience something ive never seen before, and just thinking about the amount of people that were there when i had gone, really brings a distrubing image to my head. Im not sure if any of you seen what was on TV lastnight, but two shows that i saw were "The secret History of 9/11" and "The falling Man" if any of you watched any of these they were really interesting episodes, and also very distrubing esepically "The falling man" all videos of people jumping out of the towers and still images of them. Seeing and believing is something i really believe in, and hearing about all different stories on what happened on 9/11 and what CIA, CAA, Bush, the VP etc knew 5 years prior to this is unbelievable that this actually went through, the lact of intelligence and the lack of communication between the CIA, CAA, the military is what really caused this, and not to sound like a stereotype against bush, but him having interconnections with Osama, and the past friendship really puts out questions, whats the real truth? What really happened? Well no one will ever know. And having Saddam captured, for what reason? Saddam had nothing do to with is, Iraq only has oil, and capturing saddam was his only way in. Im not against anyone, im not tryin to start a debate, but these are the types of things you learn, read, or hear about, and it could be anywhere. Every movie, novel, newspaper, magazine, turns out as propaganda, and always different. Besides this, i feel for everyone that was involved in the 9/11 incident, i wont call it a terrriost attack, why? because no one really knows how it started and why it started, what was the truth and what was a lie. Its i dont pity for people, i pray for them, for all the innocent people who lost their lives for no absolute reason, it really hits the hurt, and i will always remember this and always pray for all those involved, all the innocents, all the firefighters, the people standing by, all the brave ones who were forced to jump out. R.I.P |

oh boy is it time for one of joker's long ass fucking posts. anyway here i go. 9-11 happened for a reason. none of us know for sure who's reason this was, whether it was our own government or some terrorist organization in the middle east. i understand, seeing our own government do something like this would be very hard to imagine, but is it impossible? no. as mugen said, bush went after sadam, of all people, after the attack when osama confessed to it. why did our government do this? to get to the oil. and our government was completely supported by invading the middle east. why? because we were attacked by terrorists. we all knew it wasn't sadam who attacked us, but we didn't care because it was a 'war on terror'. what better way to get the support of your country for an invasion rather than stage an attack on the american people and the american way of life. would we have supported bush's invasion of the middle east if we wouldn't have been attacked? probably not, because as our soldiers start to die, our people cry 'let them come home! they've done what they went there to do!' and they did just that. they went there and did what bush wanted them to do. they captured sadam for the 'war on terror'. if there was no war on terror then no one would have cared. if we wouldn't have been attacked personally then no one would've cared. people in africa die everyday in battles between warlords and we don't care. why? because it's not happening here and it's not happening to us. in a movie i watched not too long ago called hotel rwanda. this movie is about the transition of power between the hutu's and tutsi's. the tutsi once ruled rowanda and were considered the 'upper class' and hutu were the 'lower class'. after the hutu took power from the tutsi after the belgiums left the country, the hutu started striking at the tutsi until it finally comes down to the mass genocide of the tutsi. the main character is talking to an american news camera man. he tells him how the american people will want to help when they see these horrors on tv. the camerman disagrees. he says "the people will watch this while they're eating their dinner. they'll stop, look up, and say 'that's horrible.' then they'll go back to eating." and thats what was happening. before the war on terror, iraq was a dictatorship and no one really cared until we were attacked. after we were attack bush blabbed on how iraq needs to be liberated from sadam's tyrannic rule and we immediately saw sadam as the enemy as we couldn't find anyone else to blame. people say that there is no way our own government could have done this. their main reason is the bin laden confession tape, which is shit. the loose change videos give more evidence of our government doing this then our government has given on terrorists doing it. isn't that fucked up considering a terrorist attack would seem so much more likely? also, think about this. how many muslim bombings were there before 9-11? how many did we hear about that happened to other countries? slim to none. as soon as 9-11 happened, it seemed like muslim extreamist activity sky-rocketed. this isn't evidence that our government or terrorists were responsible, but it did motivate other terrorist cells to start to take action. we fucked up when we invaded iraq. we went after sadam instead of osama. we wanted oil more than justice. we wanted war more than peace. we may or may not have been attacked by terrorists, but either way we didn't respond well. how we reacted was like going after china when korea nuked us because china seemed like a bigger threat even tho korea has the nukes.. |

Great points Joker, you knew exactly what i was getting at, and believe it or not, this is true. Before 9/11 there were 2-3 incidents when US was attacked, and guess by who, thats right Osama, not Sadam, dont you guys think that if Sadam was never captured that he would let Bush in Iraq? NO he would have told him to get the fuck out. Well basically we covered a lot here, dont want to repeat anything, but if anyones got any more input, please do share it, theres HUGE contraversy between this whole situation, something i wont call a terriost attack, for all we know, bush can be the real terriost. |

Saddam went after Bush's Daddy (tried to assassinate him) that could have been the reason he went after him. I hear the oil theory too much i just wanted to throw that out there... Don't believe Loose Change... This is a biased documentary made by biased people who have biased views... it's 5 times worse than a michael moore film. |

and people who yell 'kill all the fucking muslims' aren't biased? but you might be right nostie, that might be bush's reason. but it was a personal reason and didn't involve the United States army. we had bigger fish to fry like the mother fuckers who seemed to bomb the shit out of our country. A lot of people are biased... I'm just saying, before you blindly trust a biased film that makes you want to get angry and DO something about it, check their facts. check their science, and check why they wanted to make this film. did they want to make this to let the american people know what happened on 9/11 or did they want to spread bush hate? | ||

I'm going to print this all out, bring it to my world studies class, and next time we have a debate - get an A. Loose change may be biased, but you can't deny some of the things it shows. |

I can easily deny it, considering I haven't seen any of the evidence firsthand... It's like saying if god exist or not when you can't see the hardcore facts about it, you're not important enough to get close to any of that |
