Ok guys, i need the best paper airplane design that you can find, and i need it to fly far. In science i need to make the furthest flying paper airplane out of a standard 8/11 1/2 inch paper (or w.e it is). I made one today that went 10.5 meters (farthest one of them all), and i need to improve it by at least 1 meter. Anyone got suggestions? |

I use the old fashioned shit - fold longways, then fold two corners in, then fold the same corners in one more time, then fold longways again, then fold the two wings out. that is the best I've flown. | ||

ok man listen to this with an open mind take the paper (dont worry about the periods) .________ |............| |............| |________| fold the paper's hamburger edge by around 1/3 inch about 5-7 times til you get this .________ |________| ------------ now put the 2 shortest ends together to form an O and tape them together throw it like a football with the fat end in front and youll be amazed and shit your pants Edited Wed Sep 20 2006, 11:16PM |

I'll teach you some oragami son. Take a paper, fold it long ways once, flip it over so the crease is sticking up from the table. Do the standardtriangle paper airplane nose (fold each side once, so the top is folded and the rest of the paper is still normal). then fold the top of the paper so only the triangle part is facing down (kinda like an envelope). now fold the top 2 corners in again like you did the first time, but leave about an inch of unfolded paper at the top, so the first crease you made is still visible. where the two triangles meet, you should have some extra paper from the original triangle fold; fold that over so it holds the triangles you just made down. Now refold the crease you made right down the middle and make the wings. IMPORTANT you need to make a spoiler on the tail for maximum hang time. just take the corner of the bottom back of the plane and fold it so the corner is inside out. This is hard to explain without pictures, so I did my best. | ||
