I think Kalibur is a decent person when he is getting what he wants (influence, attention, help when he needs it). Without going over the history between us, I'll say that personally I do not get along with him well, especially communicating outside of CS:S. As a former FTC1/2 regular and admin he has, with the exception his first shot at admin on FTC, behaved well in-game. Sure he went AWOL a few times but that is so common that I can't really hold it against him. I never got complaints about him abusing admin privileges or bullying people around. When I rarely see him on FTC he's a good sport -- offers to swap to the losing team, communicates well with teammates, provides cover, etc. In addition to the multiple threads that others have made, a few candid remarks have been said to me about him powertripping on his server. I can get carried away with server op status from time to time, but I figured out pretty quickly that it's a bad idea to do so when your server is struggling for connections. Kali and I publicly get into spats from time to time, but I do not really like Graf's approach to this situation. I doubt most of you realize just how bitter things have been between us, and sometimes I'm puzzled when people ask "what is the problem between you two?" It's hard not to launch into a detailed account of my misery... I've discussed some of these issues in private with a few of you, but I never felt publlicly disclosing all of my beefs with him would be a good idea. Despite our personal grief I do still remember the positive things Kalibur has done for FTC1/2 as a former regular and admin. Anyway... I think this thread should be locked if it's nothing more than a series of people crapping all over Kalibur. |

I would like to start with that obviously when i started this thread, i started it in anger. So im sorry that it was as well formulted as it should have. The main reason i posted was because i had enough of Kali's tattle tail for attention behavoir. When i posted it was just after i was told by Narf that Kali was accussing me of admin abuse towards him on fts. Im not gonna say that i wasnt already a lil predjudice towards kali cuz that would be a bold face lie. But the reason i was predjudice towards him was because this was not the first time hes done this. Even b4 i had admin on surf he would try and tell Pope all the time that i was breaking rules on surf, which were always lies. Ive tried makin peace with Kali, but it never works b/c he acts like a child with a magnify glass. Kali just because u have your own server, it does not automatically give u free reign on the other ft servers. I treated u like any other asshole on surf, its just that were the first who actually tried numerous times to get me in deep shit for it, when clearly u were being condesing and disrespevtful to me without any provoction. And i would like to clarify that the only reason that Kali holds a grudge against me and continues to do these kinda childish things is b/c i told him he could keep his lead admin and that i didnt want to take part in his server, to which he obviously took offense to. | ||

Im pretty sure if Kalibur read what I said, he would agree. After listening to him on TS, he knows I know  I dont hold much of anything against Kalibur at all and Im not going to hold anything against him for the so said admin abuse that he has been using. This is just something between Kalibur and Graffitti and should only stay between them two.

I don't have much of a problem with kali. As most of you who have played with me for a while now probly know i'm a REALLY laid back guy when all is said and done and i just don't care. As long as your not a complete douche at all times i probly won't hate you, kali meets that requirment so he's cool by me despite his minor flaws. Yes he has flaws, as do i, and graff, and alexh and everyone else here. When it comes down to it, you have to decide what really matters to you and what is really important, then learn to let everything else go and not dwell on the little unimportant things. Just ask yourself if his flaws are major sins to you, and if not then learn to let it go. If that means you don't talk to him much then so be it. |
