yeah, i know what you're talking about. It's a radio mod. The way it works is you type !radio or something like that in say and motd pops up with either a list of songs, or a live radio station (groove salad kd?). here's a server that uses that mod: 130.101.226.83:27015 |

I am all against it. If people want to lsiten tomusic, they can just DL winamp and listen to music. Most people don't want to choose from a limited list of songs that probably doesn't even have what they want in the first place. |

Its a good idea, and you guys arnt getting the point Trueeagle and Kd. If you dont wanna listen to the music or find its variety lacking you dont have to. Its only activated if u type it in. LIke bubble said type stop if u dont wanna hear it. But other like myself and helldash would like to listen to it without having itunes runnin in the backround. | ||

the old ZeO server had this mod. It was a pain in the ass to install and when you load it it stops the game for 10-30 seconds so it can load the files from the cstrike folder. Then after it loads the player it takes another 10-30 seconds to load every song you want to play, even if you play the same song twice. I think you can only have 4-5 songs up at once so you can't have much of a variety. It would be nice for all those who don't mind the lag/not having a great choice, but i'm against it. Why don't you just use the mp3 player that is built into CS? | ||

have the hl2 radio or w.e, i went to an office server with, like, 50 slots, and it ran perfectly smooth with the radio, had about 15 or so stations, too!

Naaaaa. It'll kill voice communication, make people into bigger noobs by them not beiong able to hear footsteps, but I guess if you want that sort of deathmatic/no tactics server it's fine. Don't you dare put it on FTPR. haha. | ||

Or Office. It should be a mandatory thing, and there shouldnt be any opposition considering you choose whether to play it or not. I dont like playing with music so you wont see me using it. I think it would be great for those that do like playing with music though. | ||

even though some of you are saying it is not good and it takes forever to load it really doesnt. i have played on lots of servers with radios and such on it, abd from them iv'e learned that it really does jack shit to effect performance. except that the first 2 seconds that you start it up it pauses. | ||
