I was play CS:S on this one server to day and a lot of the things cost less like the AK was only $2000.00 and armer was only $1000.00 but i go back on to the fish tank clan server about 3 hours later and ever thing cost more. Any one know way?

yea costs of certain stuff is determined by how many other people have bought that item...supply and demand | ||

Are the prices based on real prices or are they determined buy how much they are bought on the server. | ||

Supply and demand. Prices fluctuate based on what is bought more and what is not. Like mentioned. No, I do not believe it is based on what is real. | ||

No - not based on "real" prices. Valve started with a "base' price and let demand determine whether the price goes up or down. If a weapon is in high demand the price goes up, if not many are buying it the price goes down. Look at your buying menu for special "deals' to save money. | ||
