The power glove is not at all like the power glove. The power glove worked on high pitched sounds and oculd onyl determin the roll of the hand your pulling in your fingers and the buttons on top. It was awsome techonlogy for it's time and it only played 2 games. It also bankrupted a company lol. The wii remotes work on infer red to detect the controler postion. Then the controler sends the date to the console though blue tooth. This will notice any turns, postioning, buttons, and tilt and that is just with the remote not even counting the add on controlers. Such as the nunchuck whihc cna also sence simlar things. In short the power glove hwil it kicked ass can not compair and while there are a lot of new develupents since the glove so gose the wii remote whihc uses far more powerfull tech. The wikipida at least claims that only 2 but I never tried it dispite owning one lol. (never could get it to work) Also your right they been working in infor red for a long time but they oculdnt do what they are currently doing and blue tooth in systems is rather new. Also the parts detect tilt, and such are newer tech. Like the super scope and the nintendo gun thye both used infor red but they shoot the same if you were sideways or upside down. also all the controler that used infor red have been guns in the past. Unless oyu could those wireless controlers which had very limted range and once more cant detect anything other then the fact that you are in range. I am pritty sure all those game that you listed dont work with the power glove aside form rad racing and super glove ball. Do you own a power glove with with to test that beocuse I have never figured out how to work it lol. Pritty much yes in basic infer red has exsisted in the past but never with many fetures dude to limted technology and the only thing that ocmes close used sound and pritty much a radar. That is what the power glove was in a nut shell a radar that detected the gloves movements. If you sitll cant understand the diffrence then I dont know what to tell you aside form the fact that thye work on compleatetly diffrent systems and the old one was used to it;s max potencal back in nintendo and still couldnt do half as much. |
