Yeah sorry I'm back in this stage guys... it was provoked by that damn "Cooking by the Book" girl... So why is it that whenever guys see a good looking girl/woman, they always say "I'd hit it"? is that really what you guys want? Honestly, I'd rather have a long lasting relationship with someone then just "hit it" once... Especially when the girl's NOT a hot piece of ass... at that point you have to think... why would i sleep with her? she's not hot, she's cute... Additionally, why do girls gravitate towards assholes?! it's ridiculously easy for them to settle down with a nice guy who wants a serious relationship to last, but they go for the guy that'll beat them and throw them out of the house. Thoughts? |

Human nature for the majority of the public is to always consider physical attraction first. That's why guys say "I'd hit it" but girls say "I'd wish he'd hit it." Part of life bro. Some guys want long lasting relationships and others don't. It's all about personal preference. Most guys go through stages where you just want the one night stands and/or friends with benefits. Then you eventually move into the relationship stage. For some, it takes longer than others. Some of those that go through the relationship stage then learn to enjoy their new freedom when there is a breakup or are so scarred from the relationship that they take some time to do the random hooks up again. Guys have needs bro. Why do it yourself if you can get a cute girl to do it for you. Saves you some energy and some lube that you can use when Fetus comes over.  Everyone has different views on hook ups but sometimes you just may want a random hook up with a cute girl. It's all about preferences man and each of us is different.Here's my take on girls gravitating towards assholes. Some girls, and I say some girls not all, want what they can't have. Assholes don't cater to them like a normal guy would who wants to sleep with them or be in a relationship with them. They relatively ignore them and for some freaking reason, some girls love going after a guy that doesn't want them. In the same breath, guys do the same thing with girls. If a girl blows you off, you initially say fuck her but wonder why she didn't want you. Then you end up wanting to work harder to get her just so you can say yeah I got her. That's just my opinions in the matter and I'm interested to see the other opinions from everyone else.

well nostie, you have 'geek syndrome'. i have it too. we are hopeless romantics. we feel that we are respecting women, and we are. but to a lot of girls that just makes them feel like they have to live up to some sort of expectations, when really, we'd love 'em anyway. a lot of girls (most) gravitate toward assholes because that respect isn't there, they feel like they deserve it so they try to 'fix' them. especially if the guy is hot. or, if they are just looking for sex, they don't have to worry about any 'expectations', they just wanna fuck. now, to the remaining 25% of available women out there (i'm being so generous there), 95% of those are either:
and THEN, with that small amount left, how many will you ever have any sort of intimate relationship with. pretty grim, eh? don't get fooled, either. you might convince a girl to have sex with you, get all clingy and think she's the one but really she's a bitch. it's called puppy love, it's not real. there are 2 solutions:
so far i've managed to be the respectful guy, and i'd like to think that i'm just filtering out all the women i don't want to spend my life with. i occasionally have sex without being in a relationship, but only when i know there won't be any drama afterward. this is best done at weddings or holidays. don't get caught up waiting for that 'one girl', just find one you can trust, can cook a good dinner, and will take it in the pooper if you ask her. |

Like always I am going to do this is pieces because that is just how I operate lol. First the hit is stuff. Guys have these things call hormones they are part of nature and nature says produce as many children as you can so your line can continue. Pretty much it is our primal urge to have sex with as many women and produce as many young as we can. Romantic stuff like long lasting relationships are social influence on us. These are things that have been pushed on us though books, movies, tv, and a lot of other sources. This is also partly brought about by our primal instincts because humans like all mammals take care of our young we just do it for the longest and a family unit makes a good way to do so. Geeks (I am one) tend to be hopeless romantics like Jig said. We get lost in the fantasy of one true love and how great having a woman around to talk to and have sex with when we want and someone to in general bound with would be. Girls also tend to get lost in this fantasy a lot. In the end that is all just a illusion the person you end up with is normally not the best person out there for you and after a while the person will get boring and annoying and their faults will haunt you every second of your day. The goal is to find someone who you can stand for a long long long long period of time. This is what people call a successful couple. Back on topic why these women take on the guys that beat them and treat them like shit. It is partly society defining what a good looking guys is. The people most likely to treat a girl right (geeks) are least likely to fit in with what people would call a "hot guy" so they go with the guy with a good body. Those people often times are also the wife beaters they don't have to try to get a girl most would jump on them in a instant (I know a lot of these guys it pisses me off how they do this). Also there is the bad boy effect which also is a negative thing for the girl. Women are drawn for a reason I can even figure out to bad boys which in the end treat them badly. Pretty much the people that would treat them right don't attract them. |

I'm married. I have had some chances to hook up with friends for "one time only" deals but I never seem to go for it. Even when I think I might beforehand. Too many bad consequences; I suppose my conscience takes over from my "other brain" LOL. Keekles. |
