So the computer plan, however sexy it was is now on the back burner. I was riding in my friends car, listening to the subs i traded him for a computer, and it sounded amazing. I already have some SICK ass LOUD ass subs in my car....but that is all I have. Well besides an amazing Kenwood HD/CD/MP3 player. All i hear is bass, and alot of it. But in my friends car, ((Even though my subs are much louder)) his mids and highs are great. So I am going to drop 500 on another amp and some speakers. Then me and my friend are tearing my back seat out and putting my 12s, amps, and mids in a sweet box ((if my friend stops being a bitch and makes it for me)). I want the subs IN the car becuz the lic. plate rattles alot, the trim above the trunk started to fall off, and just because it will look nice and sound better. So the computer will come after this....Gotta stay fly for the ladies now that im single =( | ||

yes, in my car i built a custom wall with black carpeting right behind my back seats. All you do is pull down the back seats and there are two 12inch MTX subs facing the front of the car which puts most of the bass IN the car and not in the trunk. 1000 watts of bass and only 200 watts of everything else yet my shit sounds so crisp with not too much bass.. TIP: Keep your sub level normal and your bass at like -4 or something. Take out as much bass as possible because your regular 4 speakers around the car will kill the bass while ur subs should keep a nice sound. If not, just adjust the SUB LEVEL higher. Now with your Subs at a normal sound, MAX out your treble on your 4 regular speakers and that should even out the sound around the car. As long as you have no bass and all treble comming from your 4 speakers and the bass only comming from your subs, then u should be ok. Thats my set up and i set off car alarms. I bought Infiniti speakers because they tend to be factory "louder and more treble like" and less bass. And my subs even it out. If not, then just buy an equalizer. That should fix the problem. Mmm Alpine type R components are nice. Polk/Momo ones had nice numbers as well. You can get cross overs so its only sending the lows to the subs. I need to get an amp so i can start running my type R : ( | ||
