Ok as part of my life changes I have become more open to OTHER types of music. But IDK what I like other than Rap. I have grown to <3 and respect all of you guys, so share some of your favorite music with me, and help me gain music background. Listening to music your friends fav. music helps you to find music YOU like. Also by sharing your music with us we can all get to know each other better and shit lol <3 nate |

-[link]- I'm starting up this site... at first I'll only have the good stuff... I like soft rock mostly. Some Devil (under Dave Matthews) is really soft, depressing almost, rock that'll make you think about stuff... Aaron Lindsay, AKA LiquidCreek is one of my favorite Solo Artists on his acoustic 6 string and 12 string, as well as accompanied by his cousin on an electric. Def. Check him out. Personally I am not much into rap so I don't know what would be good for you but I think there is a good site for you. -[link]- it is a site where you put in a band or song and it then gives you songs that it thinks you will like. You then give it a thumbs up or down and it will get to know your taste in music and start to give you better results. Other then that you can never go wrong with classic rock. You could try some R&B which is like the transition of rock into rap. Good luck |

But as far as new stuff I suggest: 30 Seconds to Mars Chevelle Breaking Benjamin Institute Killswitch Engage (Hard Rock / Metal) Norma Jean (Heavy Metal) Seether Thrice Tool If you want to get into some weird stuff, try Ambience and Electronica or Trip Hop. Ambience is awsome if you're pissed off or something and need something to tone down to or relax. Some bands would be: Massive Attack Portishhead Zero7 King Koobah Paul Okenfold (I think I misspelled his name) There are others you can search up, but if you have XM Satellite radio then I suggest looking up XM Chill, a station with all kinds of Electronica and shit like that. It's awesome music to get into. Or you can search Groove Salad on the internet and listen to some groovy stuff on there. There you go

Yea I'm not really into much rap, there are a few things I like though. Anyway, some bands I'd suggest are: Three days grace Hinder Nickelback System of a Down Disturbed Seether Buckcherry All That Remains Bleeding Through Strapping Young Lad Black Lebel Society Atreyu So yea, those are basically my favorites! Since you're into rap, check out this guy RJD2, I don't know what you'd call his music, but it's somewhere between rap and techno Hed P.E is also another fucking awesome band between rap and rock Rage Against the Machine is also a sick band other bands I suggest that have nothing to do with rap would be: A Perfect Circle Tool System of a Down Alice in Chains Black Label Society (need to get some metal in there) Dream Theartre (have a few good songs but not many) Godsmack Nirvana Sublime I mainly listen to classic rock, but I figured these would be some bands that might interest you. good luck. |
