Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

It really all depends on my level of energy. Currently I am at a high level of energy; therefore, my posts are coherent and properly spelled/composed. Read one of my posts after I spend 2 hours getting raped on FTC; you'll see a different side of Johnny. |

nostie wrote ... Nostie, I had typing classes in 4th + 5th grade and the only reason that I type over 120 words per minute is because of online gaming, otherwise I'd still have to look at the keyboard for every letter and I'd be a slow as fuck typer. Also, before online gaming, I used to have awful grammar. I saw other people's awful grammar/spelling so decided I wouldn't suck at it. Online gaming ftw?BuBBLe GooSe wrote ... Yeah, so long as the point gets across, its gravy. Personally I like to see an attempt at capital letters and proper punctuation because it shows that even if the point the person was trying to make is way off, at least they tried to make it look presentable. About 90% of the time I type 'teh' instead of 'the'. Thankfully Microsoft Werd autocorrects it for me. However on forums, my right ring finger is accustomed to tapping the 'backspace' quite frequently as my mind travels faster than my fingers. I just noticed that I can type using all of my fingers correctly on my left hand, yet my right hand I only use my thumb, index and middle with my ring dedicated to the backspace and my pinky flailing about aimlessly. Damn excessive mouse usage has screwed over my right hand and Ive got to glance at the keyboard every so often to hit the keys that my right hand is supposed to know... Anywho... I'm so happy that my 4th and 5th grade classes had a "typing" class... I type like 100 words per minute because i use the proper technique... The more uneducated opinions i can spew on this forum! yayyy! Eh... you have to make fun of yourself at some point. p.s. Cha that picture is simply amazing |

I'm so happy that my 4th and 5th grade teachers taught about how to respect other people and how NOT to be a racist... I hope you will find the opportunities that you seek in the Data Entry field... Personally, the 65 words per minute I type is still decent considering I capitalize the words that are supposed to be capitalized, I use punctuation and only 8 fingers. But if you're asking for a dick measuring contest... And stop quoting me on every thread Nostie, I don't like racists and I'll keep the sig as is for now... |

Our typing class was in 9th grade. Half a year typing, half computer. Of course, this was 1993. Goodness I'm old. |

They made computers in 1993? Haha just kidding, they must have been running 64k RAM though, and slow as fuck. What program did you even type with? I know I've used Mavis Beacon or something like that | ||

I can't recall the software, but my 9th grade typing class had IBM PS/2 386's -- freaking smokin' fast! Hell, when I was in elementary school we had Apple IIc's... oh, the good old days when it took 10 minutes to load up Oregon Trail off of 5.25" floppy! Anyway, back on topic: I agree with the many people that have already stated that as long as the meaning of a post can reasonably be understood then there is no need to be a troll. I do, however, think that a modicum effort given to spelling and grammar indicates the poster is interested in making sure his or her point is well-received and easily understood, which could be construed as respect for fellow forum participants. EDIT: Just a thought, but Firefox 2.x has built-in spell checking. When making a forum post, for example, any misspelled words in the New Post/Reply text area are underlined in red. Just right-click on the word and a context menu comes up with spelling suggestions. I find it very helpful! Edited Tue Feb 27 2007, 01:27PM |

I remember one of my programing classes in high school we actually had a sheet that we had to fill in 0's and 1's by hand, then feed it into this machine, only to have this 2 classroom long machine kick out a long as freaking ream of green paper with our answer or whatever we were trying to do on it. LOLs!! That shit rocked. HA HA HA HAH AH H A!!!! Alcohol-Powered wrote ... EDIT: Just a thought, but Firefox 2.x has built-in spell checking. ROFL. I remember back when I had to use the card catalogue in the library! When I was in elementary school, the only spell checker we had was a dictionary - which pissed me off because you had to have a pretty good idea how to spell the word in the first place. I guess my elementary school was poor. I only remember having around a half dozen computers for the whole school (1,000 students). Even when I was six, I knew the computers we had were a load a shit. To this day, I think I have retina burns from staring at the fucking orange computer screen for hours on end playing Oregon Trail and California Games. I have no idea why anyone would make an orange computer screen. I think the orange moniters are used as torture devices in the Middle East these days. Edited Tue Feb 27 2007, 05:54PM |

Like I'm a good typer, I dont know about my "gwam" (I think its called? lol) but yeah, the only thing I dont like about the auto spell check is I type "I am, or I'm" really lazily, so I just go "im" and its always red, and im like FUCK, lol. really annoys me |
