Hey all, I'm making this post here cause I can't reply to the post that's ongoing in the other thread, which you all know... Normally, I would just let it go and leave it to chance, but there have been alot of pretty fucked up things said, I believe and I wanted the chance to put the time line together and defend myself, so to speak. First things first. As far as my return and everything that goes along with it: Notice the first thing I did when I returned to CSS was make the post "I'm Back Bitches!!!". I didn't go buy a server first, I didn't start wearing the USN tag till after and for a few good reasons. I expected to be welcomed back, that wasn't the case cause of the "new clan rules" or whatever. I did see the point that Nostie made about all the new members and how my seniority might have counted had many others from my era been around, but that wasn't the case. I bought the server 3 days after I got back or so WHILE still trying to talk to Alex/Nostie/Narf, etc about getting back into FT. I made the decision to start USN AFTER because it wasn't seeming very likely that I was gonna be accepted right back, however, and Alex can verify this, even after I started USN, I was still asking Alex to add my server to the FT network and add USN as a subclan to FT just like F7L5 and DAWG. He was kool with it, just concerned that we might be adding too many new servers too quick, as the D2 server was just recently added, that's why I haven't added yet. No on to defending myself: A Drunk wrote ... Well twitch, he was asking u to do retarded stuff. He came on like his 2nd day back, was like to twitch was like "ban him (forget kids name" and was like "If you don't ban him, i will get your admin removed. I am founder of FT and F7L5" and the kid was clearly not hacking. And if he was hacking, he had a 1:1 ratio, pretty shitty hacker. As for this; I watched a guy (can't remember his name now) that looked to me with my extensive experience as admin (not just recently like alot of you) like he was wallhacking. I compared his actions with his radar and noticed he was leading players on his radar that hadn't even come around the corner yet, hitting them with headshots just as they came around and nading with perfect timing when he clearly couldn't see who was around that corner. All warning signs to me that someone needs AT LEAST the consideration of a look. My actions were to notify admin, ARC and A Drunk, whom I had to say something to about 4 times before I even got a reaction which was "FUCK MAN, WHO WHO WHO?!!!" or something to that effect. Now I remember admin being primary for an admin, not the game. Play till admin is needed, then take care of admin stuff. These guys were clearly too wrapped up in the game. Anyway, without sounding like I'm trying to tattle, cause I'm not, I got an immediate response that he wasn't hacking, instant defense of the guy, whom I haven't seen since, btw, and after all that defense, in the open BTW with green admin text, he stopped doing whatever he was doing and sucked. That's when admin FINALLY went to check him out, when it didn't matter anymore. I asked noone to be banned, I just asked to have someone checked out. As for me saying I'd have admin removed or whatever, I raise a major Bullshit Flag on that one. While all this other stuff was going on, I was Spec, obviously, cause I was eating. The guys, after getting annoyed that I was asking them to do a little work, I guess, started getting on me about coming into game or getting kicked. I said OK and came back in then Nostie or someone (don't remember exactly who) came into game and said hey to me and I started telling them about what was going on and somehow the conversation got everyone involved and I asked them if they even knew who I was (to establish why I'd be making such a big deal about good admin practices). Response was No, of course, and I told them I was one of founding members of FT. No threats, no "RETARDED stuff".. Check the logs Alex, see for yourself. The only other thing I had was about Goose. I notice that he is FINALLY FT, so that being the case, I acknowledge that he should have an opinion. What to keep in mind, and older members can verify, he couldn't get into to the old FT cause he was always doing dumb shit on the server and he was one of my favorite to punish cause the stupid stuff happened so often, ie. Spamming, Team Flashing, Team Killing, quitting rejoining to play same round, etc. I used to teleport him to oppisite team spawn at the start of every round after he did something stupid ( purposely, like I said, Old FT can verify) and we would have a grand old time. So, though he is part of FT now, and does obviously have an opinion, I would call him biased because I was one that was most against his joining the old FT along with Ian, Nostie, Kamikazi, Omega, etc. And as far as the "wanting to get my server on FT so I can see it succeed" that would be a pretty counterproductive move, I think considering that the only server I've really seen anyone on since I've been back is Office. The new D2 server never has anyone on it and if that one isn't successful yet, why would I think mine would be any more so? I could be alot more successful doing some sort of custom mod and going on my own. That's not what I want, tho. I want to bring a classic map rotation and some of the Nipper maps that us old FT used to love back into FT. Anyway, that's all I got to say (lol, I know it's ALOT!!!) I just wanted the chance to reply to accusations, etc that I thought were a little outrageous. I'll live with whatever decision is made and will go from there. |

I think that it's ridiculous the amount of stuff Rim has had to put up with considering he had no choice to temporarily leave FT - (Navy responsibilities > FT responsibilities), he has seniority over most of the people in FT, and he's willing to put up his own dough to add a server to FT's belt. |

I just have to say I wish you posted this in the proposal thread, it would have saved me a lot of thought. I just can't wait until you meet Kever...yeah I'll leave that at that.(It is a joke.) I am still inclined to side with Twitch on whole hacking siuation only because of that fact that I've known him longer and cannot go back to read everything that was "actually" said. Still like I said in the other thread, I'll get over it. I do happen to agree with your standpoint of admin responsibilities because we are players first and admin by calling. I am forgetting myself a little bit, Welcome to Tank...again. I'm Wolf, the guy shooting his glock into the corner for half the round. Can't wait to go a few rounds. I can understand where you are coming from because I joined DAWG before I became a part of the FT community. I agree with a lot of people that all the events have been blown up a whole lot but that's what we do best. No holds barred arguing until everyone leaves beaten and slightly perturbed. I am still for my decision to let this topic sit for a little bit, maybe to fester, maybe to blossom....fuck if I know. If the past is any indication then I get the feeling from this post that even if you have to wait a little bit, the newer members will eventually welcome you into the community with open arms. Catch ya in the tank or maybe you'll wonder over to the sandbox. |

I do not know rim, never heard of him and i know nothing of his past at FT....but what I do know, like nostie said.....HES IN THE FUCKING NAVY....he cant just say hey im not going to war (or anywhere) you tell me to admiral, i have to stay with my CSS clan. Hes fighting for our country and he has to come home to some FT bullshit, i love you guys but we have a history of drama, lol i like how wolf compared this to kever.....its kinda true, we seem to fuck ppl over. But im not even in FT i just thought i would show my support to a guy who sounds pretty cool AND IS FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY......patriotism FTW.......<3 everyone | ||
