Well as most of you have figured out im a big fuck up. No matter what I do in life, i fuck it up. This time I had the easiest class in the world, intro to programming. I started out so well, and got a's on everything. Then as the qtr went on, i stopped going to class thinking I could do it all myself. Well my mom was under the impression that I was stilling getting all a's. It came down to the end of the Qtr and I had a shit load of work to do, i powered it all out, and got to where I had only 3 assignments left.....I bombed the alst quiz 23/50, and didnt finish the last 3 labs. I crossed my fingers and hoped I atleast passed. Well grades just came out, I got a 1.3 in the class........I sure fucked myself. Being a lifelong screw up I know plenty of ways to lie to my mom and fake it. But I have grown alot on the last few months, and I have decided to tell her the truth. Luckily I got a 3.5 in english 102, cuz I got a 1.8 in history 104. I just barely got a good enough overall gpa to stay in the college program. Otherwise I would have lost my car, my laptop, and my life. Im sure im going to lose all of that for a while, but hopefully with my honesty it wont be for too long. Im gonna miss u guys, I will try to get on forums as much as I possibly can and keep in touch. Well I <3 you guys, andthanks again for all the help you guys offer me and the sanctuary FT has been for me..........Ill let you know how things turned out.......... Nate | ||

Word dude my mom is going to kill me once she sees how bad my grades are going to turn out, but I guess it's because of my lack of attention and school work in class. No matter how long of a break I take from CSS I still don't do work. Good luck dude

Tough break Nate. Glad to see that you are taking the high road and being mature enough to admit your faults to your mom. The community will all miss you too but we'll be here whenever you get the chance to get in the forums or come back in game. You don't want to be taking classes the rest of your life but those classes WILL help you out for the rest of your life. Be smart, don't do anything stupid, stay out of trouble, and get your study on. Take care of yourself bro. <3 |

rofl same here night...actually only about the fucked grades part. my mom doesn't really care if i fail or get a D. ironically she's asian O.O yes...all you other yellow brothers. BE JEALOUS PWHAHA! my dad on the other hand...yeah..i don't show him my grades xD |

I know where your coming from I never skipped school, but I enter a sleep like state. Never had problem with not knowing stuff (I haven't hit classes where I haven't already learned the material before coming into it), but I don't do outside work aka homework. In college I get around having problems by simply not showing her my grades lol. Then again I don't know my own grades half the time so when I say I dont know I don't lie lol. |

I feel you man. Start of the quarter I'm always working hard, then it gets to the end and I'm like "ehh fuck that I don't need to do that" and the teacher grades like EVERYTHING at the end of the quarter. Anyway good luck with your shit, pay us a visit whenever you can <3 |
