Congratz on being a certified driver!! Its fun times, but make sure to stay away from the hooch if you're driving and know the law in your state regarding illegal searches and shit. I've gotten 14 tickets in the past 2.5 years (only 4 convictions  ) but yeah, keep your peepers open for the fuzz at all times because they like to harass the noobie drivers.Jesus[tzahal wrote ... ] In Canada we have a graduating liscencing system. G1, G2, G I took my G license road test in my Stang. The DMV person was a chick and didn't mind that I forgot to signal twice, had 1 hand on the wheel, went 15kms over the speed limit on the highway and that I didn't have my front plate on. (Its the law to have the front plate in Canada, but it doesn't look good with the Roush front Facia, and that accounts for about 7 of my tickets, that I all had dropped. ) And I passed with flying colors. So yeah, driving is phun!

Just get a radar detector, it's definately worth it. Price of a GOOD, SOLID radar detector - $150 Cost of a speeding ticket going 20mph over in a 55 w/ a safe zone attached - $500+ use your head! |

Radar isn't really used here in Canada, they've upfraded to laser. Cost of a good Laser detector $400. Getting caught by a cop, they take it, give you a $250 ticket with 6 demerit points... but I'm still looking into getting one for the summer.
