Ok so in my previous thread i mentioned making a skiing slide map. Well i have been working on it part by part the previous 2 days and i have come up with a basic layout/gameplay plotline. Its name is slide_emer_ski_assault. Terrorists have taken a building and blown out the front wall. They have set up defensive positions, and knowing a counter-terrorist attack is imminent, they prepare to defend the building. For ct's, your objective is to slide down the ski slope uber clandestine-like and assault the terrorists and take back the building. Simple, right? Wrong. There is a series of obstacles to manuver, as well as avoid the terrorists shooting at you. There are walls you can crouch under for protection, or you could just run for it. Whatever it takes to get to the building. Once you get to the building, you must go floor by floor and fight off the terrorists until there are no more left. I am making some progress on this map. I have the basics done-slide, building, ladders, simple props. Sunday i am going to add in the barriers on the ground, and during the week i will add in props all over to give it a good feel. I have a version out that does not reveal more than the basic outline of the map, so if you want to see it ill send it to you to test it. Optimal sv_airacceleration setting: 800 Progress on other maps: Surf-I havent worked on it at all. Im still having problems with some model somewhere and when i try to test a compiled version of the map it crashes my game. Awp-Still done version one, just still having compile problems. No idea when this will be ready. Boeing map-I ahve made a little progress on this. Ive got the two floors. Once im done with the slide map ill start working on a detailed seat, and ill be half done basically. So yeah, this is the progress on my maps. Ill try and post a topic like this every few weeks so the people who are interested can know whats going on. Hope i got you drooling now
