As a com major, you just sit and get drilled with bullshit after bullshit, and what our Country is at the moment is a load of bullshit. There is a lot of law bending, and a lot of cover ups. And there isn't much people can do, because our rights to talk/report (freedom of speech/freedom of press) have become a crime. The biggest problem inside our country right now (other than the economy, thats another story) is the patriot act. But seriously, this country is something to behold, maybe we're not doing amazing, and maybe we're not making the right decisions, but hey, next election, and about two years into it, you can hope things will get back to normal with dropping gas prices, end of the war, and internal structure being rebuilt. This will be possible by electing a energy aware, internal worrier. We have too many problems internally to worry about what other countries are doing, but as soon as we leave Iraq, we'll have to worry about Iran. Being able to vote, I can't even tell you who I think would be a good candidate to be president, but since the race has started, it has only seemed to be a popularity contest. |
