I didn't want people to get the wrong ideas about my forum use (or lack therein of), and I can't post in the 2 threads regarding this, so I figured i'd say something here. I'm not a forum kinda guy. Period. If it's something the community wants I will post, but it's never been in my nature. I read just about everything on the forums, just don't usually reply to anything unless it is something that really interests me. Could I find more things to post about? Sure, and in the future I intend to. About old threads, I only bumped one old thread knowingly, and it was at the request of someone else, NOT an attempt to raise my post counts. Unlike alot of people, and I'm not insulting those that like this, to each his own imo, I don't value having a high forum replies count. When I posted in the philosophy forums, in a year old thread, I really had no idea when it had last been posted in. I just saw the topic and thought I'd contribute. And that post can't really be seen as a attempt to raise forum posts. It was very long, and was my honest attempt at adding something to the discussion, even if it did turn out to be a rather dead one at that point. When I was talking to eagle about possibly getting a nom someday, it wasn't said at all the way i think everyone understood it to be. I was simply commenting on the fact that cave never nominated me, when he offered to almost a month ago. I wasn't even aggravated at cave, as I can be just as forgetful. After reading the posts on my nom, I just didn't wanna leave these things unsaid. If I wasn't me, and had read all those things, I would think I was a total prick, and that isn't what I want people to think. I didn't make this to bring out drama, I just wanted to clear that up. |

It's all good, Lem. I love you. Your Uncle Fetus may give you shit for thread bumps, but it's all in good humor. I used to be a nazi about posts, spam, writing good grammar  , speelling correctly and arguing. Boy, I used to love arguing on forums. But, I got tired of all that. Post whatever you like. Sure, I might break your balls, but I'm not really mad at 'cha. Look at me for example. I have made many threads dedicated solely to lovely, perfect, throbbing man missles. Not everyone likes that. Some forum members play along and laugh, while the others publicly denounce it then go privately masturbate to the pictures I posted. Mmmmmm....man missles. yo lemur it ain't no thing. we were told you didn't mean to bump threads so it's pretty much forgotten. posting on the forums will get you nominated more quickly. they don't have to be incredibly well thought-out posts, but don't spam useless shit either. because this is more a community than actual clan, we place much more importance on how well we know and get along with you. getting to know someone in-game just isn't enough. |

Hey, I got a fair a bit without spamming all the time... But then of course you'd have to be involved in every FTC issue for three months.. heh... But then there are the fun quote trees, and I did spam about 10 or 15 when i had about 45 posts.. it brought me to 60 but it probably pissed people off, regardless, I started to post in the FTC forum about a serious issue and sure enough I was nominated shortly after...
