| Should I start playing WoW? | ||

I played WoW and got my HORDE Warlock to lvl 60 in Azgalor server and then quit once burning crusade came out...i did not want to spend too much money in the first place. But it is kinda fun if your a normal person who wont take this game like a drug lol... Kinds of things that were fun: Doing quests, Cool Holiday Items  , Picking up good gear, challanging yourself in the Battle Arenas(not the new arenas though), Doing Dungeons with a party of 5, doing raids with a party of 20!,I never got to the point of doing raids with 40 people : \ burning crusade came out too early lol... You will have fun playing the game, Kyle. I would say yeah play the game, you'll experience different type of enjoyment, and plus you have FTers to help you out in the game, like accompany you and provide you with knowledge. I had to find out all that by myself lol so ur lucky. Also for those people who dont know about a way to get quests done easily, Go to -[link]- type the EXACT quest name and search it, (ull need a mod to read the coordinates, i dont know where to get it) Your welcome for the site Edited Tue Oct 16 2007, 01:21AM |

Signs point to yes. If you want to, play it, don't take bullshit from people that go OMG IT ROONZ LIVES PLAI RUNESCAPE. But if you get addicted to games easily, you WILL get addicted to it. A normal person that has some control over his life can play it in moderation, despite what people whine on and on about. |

Not if you want a girlfriend. I say that only half joking. I played WoW for 2 years. The only way I quit was because when the expansion came out, my guild split up. It isn't the game itself, it's the friends you make in the game. In addition, if you want to be good in the game, you NEED gear. Skill does not matter nearly as much as gear. To get gear, you need to raid. To be successful in raids, count on giving up at least 3 nights per week in a medium guild, with 5-7 nights in a high end guild. I was in a very fun guild, good group of guys, I was even the Warlock class leader. I got fairly well geared (probably the top 15% of warlocks) with raiding 3-4 nights per week. I have a friend who has NO life and he is extremely well geared. All he does is play. He skips classes to play. Just Don't. In hindsight, I'm very glad i'm not playing anymore. Play team fortress =P |
