I would say, in the area of the year you say it happens, seems you have a bad case of the Winter Blues. This can happen to anyone. You spend a lot more time with dark skies, and it's cold, where you are. Just it all builds up. Also, the winter is usually a time for a lot of busy work and tests or whatnot, when still in school. I've been depressed, it sucks. I tried a therapist, the guy tried, but if you don't want their help, it just doesn't work. Anti-depressants can work, but you have to constantly take them, and smoking weed alter the effects of the medicine, so if you smoke, they are worthless. or watch this cideo over and over, it always brightens my day! | ||

Never drink when you're sad..its the path to alcoholism. What you can even do, although it sounds odd, is start up on a MMORPG..people really dont judge as much on those games, and if you like that kind of shit, you won't mind carebearing it up. I personally lose my mind when I gotta deal with terrible pvp (WoW) but big mmorpgs that require leveling and interacting and making new, non-judgemenal friends is fun. And anti-depressants do help, I hear, although it takes like 3weeks to kick in and affect your chemicals. But know we do like you here at fishtank; you got 3 pages on a thread not too many hours old. And besides people like Drunk, and Ruskiey..we're all cool cats. |

Mmorpg like many other games are highly addictive. They take away your life. Don't say you can "moderate" it, because somone who is currently under the weather like this can easily fall victim to the addiction, as it offers an escape from reality. I dont think he wants to be a depressed no life aye? |

I am actually diagnosed with depression and I take medication and it doesn't "cure" you, for me it doesn't really do anything but people around me say I'm less agitated easier to speak to and no more arguments, meh all bullshit tbh. The good thing is though when you take the medication (especially now since it's been doubled) when you drink you go absolutely wappy, hhahaha fun time with mates when your like that you haven't got a clue what's going on. They tell me the medication levels the chemicals released or does something because atm I'm broken >.< , oh and if you say "you have to give them time to work" I've been on them for months and as I've said they've doubled me. Meh they all said it started when I was motored but I don't think I have depression it's just them sticking their beaks in and people around me over sensitive. Also my desire into finding out whats after death. All I know is it's a fucking pain when you just want a couple of beers to have a good night and its like drinking a fucking swimming pool. Depression is really treatable. If you can talk to a school concaler or a family doctor so they can suggest a good psychatrist. If you do need anti-depressants they can almost fully cure your depression | ||
