If my moderator powers extended to this area of the forum, I would have locked this. Skull, I've discussed with you already why you shouldn't have posted something like this. Clubbing baby seals, while being good exercise for the body, soul, and wallet, is not acceptable on these forums. Can we please stop with additional flame wars, and can we put a ban on all PETA sponsored videos? They never turn out well. I'm going to continue my consumption of meat, aided by Bubble Goose. Please, don't put a face on my food or blood on my furs. |

Now i'm against idiots in PETA and other groups that constantly bitch with some higher than though attitude because they are stupid. They do what skull said and protect the cute animals. I realized this years ago when they had protests about tuna because dolphins get caught in the nets and everyone had to put "dolphin free" on their labels. Yeah the dolphins were harmed in tuna, but fuck the tuna right? That said i have to disagree completely with skull on this. For stupidity equal to that shown by activists. I agree that those bitching about seal hunts because seals are cute but don't want to admit it need to stfu. But i'm against this because it is a complete waste and serves no REAL purpose other than to boost the already over-inflated human ego. "how else are you going to get fur" Spoken like a true moron. This takes the assumption that fur is a necessity, it is not, it is a luxury. If it can be obtained while getting a necessity then i'm for it. But seal hunts do not obtain the necessity. Hence the "left to rot on the ice". i'd say more but i have to walk my dog before she goes nuts. |
