From best to last. Of course, personal opinion is unavoidable. Mazda RX-8 (RWD) (Best dry weather handling car of today) Subaru WRX/STi (AWD) BMW 3 series Mazda 6 Acura TL Mitsubishi Eclipse Mazda 3 Subaru impreza Dodge Avenger Chevy Cobalt SS Acura RSX Dodge SRT4 Honda Civi Si Toyota Corolla S I will say Mazda RX8 first and not STi because the rx8 is something you dont see everywhere.. While i see STi's EVERYWHERE... its not that uncommon. At least a Mazda RX-8 can still be somewhat of a head-turner if you add some simple but nice shit too it. Granted, thats just from what ive seen here in NYC... and at car shows. Hooked up, or even just simple well kept RX-8's catch more attention then the STi's. It may not be as fast... (STi has a turbo and rx8 doesnt)... but the rx8 handles better... And because its an uncommon vehicle, less ppl will be likely to try and steal shit off of it. But any of the above cars is a good choice. WOW just looked this up... this is near me... but this is the lowest price/miles/options RX-8 ive EVER come across... and its in Velocity Red Mica! -[link]- Edited Wed Mar 12 2008, 08:07PM |

Mazda RX-8 (RWD) (Best dry weather handling car of today) YES YES YES! good list glitch, although I think it's worth a mention that the RX-8 and BMW 3 series can be gas hogs. Also the BMW M (2001 or before) is worth a look. My friend's dad has one and it's quite the looker (hauls ass too). I know It's definitely going to be my next car. |

if i where you i would stay away from north American cars. i like the wrx, carolla s, 300zx, 5 ltr mustangs (80's) but it is a American so yeah. |

No RX-8 withing my price range over in the west coast so cannot get that. Dont like red cars or American cars (unless it is the best choice--it rarely is) All Subaru imprezas were ugly. Not a fan of Civic, SRT4, Corolla, or eclipse (notorious for rust on the tranny--but i did look at them) Already own a (broken) 300ZX Looking at these three: -[link]- -[link]- -[link]- Edited Wed Mar 12 2008, 11:17PM |

Omni, all you had to say was, "I like BMW, Audi, Mercedes" and i coulda changed my whole list around. Anywayz, if your getting a mustang, get a V8. I mean i know the gas issue, but be real. V6 doesnt get too much more mileage then the V8, yet u get much more HP AND sound AND props with the V8. Plus.... ITS A FUCKIN MUSTANG... American muscle baby! I mean damn, know your roots! lol.. Out of those cars, depending on their condition, i would go with the Audi. German cars are the best cars made. If anyone disagrees with me, plz GTFO now and learn cars. If your looking for a cheap mercedes, go with the C class. Audi im not too familiar with. But the one you got their i know well, and it runs forever. Fast, handles great, fun to drive. The Mustang is a Mustang. Not the best handling, however, the raw power of ENGINE will sound and feel awsome. Throttle response on those cars is perfect. Especially in stick.
