Not the best handling, however, the raw power of ENGINE will sound and feel awsome. Throttle response on those cars is perfect. Especially in stick. BTW, out of all american cars, ford is the worst u could pick lol.... i would go with chevy personally, but Mustangs are made well enough. RX8 is bad ass.. 240 hp on the new 13b engine with N/A but the RX7 was 280 hp with twin turbos.... great engine. put a turbo on that thing and she flys.. especially for the power to weight ratio... its a sports car that weighs as much as a civic.. little more but pretty much | ||

i watch that top gear RX-8 special all the time. Make me cream. I mean come on. Nice looking, somewhat fast (with a turbo you can put out 320hp+ at 2900lbs), best handling (50/50 weight distribution), and fun as hell to drive. Take out the governer, throw in a different driveshaft with a better gear ratio... and BAM fuckin perfect! I will own one someday... Hopefully by the end of the year/next january. And that mercedes is nice. Just the car i was thinking of. Heres the thing. I would pick the Benz if you just want to buy and drive and not do anything to it. If you want a new car, and you want to add performance shit, exterior shit, and all that stuff, go with the BMW. Mercedes needs all special ordered parts that cost waaaaaay to much to customize. Mercedes = fast, very reliable (cant kill it ever) car to drive. BMW = fast, reliable, cost friendly mod car. Or you can just drive it still. My friends 1985 benz just crapped out on him at 268k miles. All it needs is a new tranny and water pump and its good to go for another 200k miles....... Edited Thu Mar 13 2008, 03:47AM |
