I have no idea with what happened with Mikey so I wont comment on that. But the whole shift thing was complete bullshit. I love you koolaid but, to be honest there was no need to ban or have shift muted that long. And then on top of that the responses to the thread were very immature. | ||

I'm sorry glitch I fail to see your point. You know as well as I do that our admin team consults with each other on every decision that needs consulting. I personally post every time I ban someone just so that there's a paper trail that the banned person is able to come back to and follow if they wish to plead their case. Our admins aren't hotheads banning without regard. Kool-Aid fucked up on his part, but that's not our server or our business as far as I'm concerned. Both Goose and Omni provided plenty of insight on Mikey's situation and I agree with their judgement. Mikey's goal as it appears to have always been was to stir up shit and cause problems, much like it's doing right now, that's why he's going to stay banned. I'm sorry if this upsets you. I don't know what's up with Shift, he's not banned from FTC and the leads/ops of whatever server he's banned from should take care of this issue. He isn't an FT related issue. Unless you consider the abusive tendencies of an admin on a server under the FT umbrella and FT related issue. Personally I don't it's a server issue. What else? Not being nice to people? I dunno, some people aren't liked or respected, that's it. End of story. Don't expect to tell people how to feel about anyone. Some people will like each other some people won't, that's what happens when you put a group of people together, it's called social dynamics. And no the admins aren't gods, but you know what? They've displayed a quality and longevity neccesary to be considered adequate for a position of authority. At least on FTC, admins aren't granted haphazardly. And it'd be in the best interest of the non-admins to not intentionally piss off the admins. That's like walking into a mall going up to the security guard and saying "FUCK YOU!". You know what? No that guy doesn't have any particular power and no he's not going to arrest you, but he's going to do whatever is in his power to make your experience as shitty as possible because YOU'RE being a douchebag. He may even consult the other security guards and they may team up to make your experience shitty because they have an affinity for one another and appreciate all the shit that each one of them has to deal with because they have some fucking semblance of authority and everyone wants to fucking bitch at them about their fucking bullshit problems that noone really gives a fuck about but they're supposed because they got a fuckin plastic badge and a fuckin uniform. SOLVE YOUR OWN FUCKING PROBLEMS. |

I'll start with the Mikey B thread I guess. Ironically enough, I used to love Mikey B before the TI bull shit started. Once that started, he disrespected our OPs and Alex more than anyone has ever before. Just the amount of trouble he put them through was enormous, and I know what having to deal with people like that is, and it sucks. I have absolutely no respect for him after that, and even less because when we scrim him, he kicks/bans his own teammates and friends if they are losing. I'll agree, it was immature of me to post the first thing, however I was extremely pissed off that he would even think about asking for a second chance. In my mind, he never deserves another chance and should find another place to play, but that's just my opinion. Also, with Shift, I'll agree I went out of hand. The first mention of me, he was posting about the office situation, and I wanted to avoid a flamefest of TWO TOPICS on one thread. I knew the Kool Aid abuse was going to be big, as well as the "Knightrider abuse." I wanted to try and get it split up into two threads, and avoid a lot of confusion. Also, I don't have a lot of respect for Shift because the only times I ever really see him he's pissed off and angry. Also, I got irritated when he jumped on the Mikey B bandwagon and told the OPs that they should unban him, when he isn't even in FT, he JUST started playing on our servers, and has no clue as to what the magnitude of the situation is. Posting your input is fine, but it was completely not his place when he has no idea about anything that happened. |

I'm already over all of it  I tried to stick up for the so called "victims", but I failed to have enough power in both situations. Swift did something negative, so it resulted in negative. no one can get upset of that, it was he who sparked the situation, and it will be over in a few days. all he has to do is wait. the mikey B thing is DEAD. We all tried, but he's gone for good, nothing we can do. I love everyone, so I'm over it shit fest = shit fest + time = cold frozen poop = resolved. everyone relax, in a week everything will be back to norm. <3 Omni |

lol glitch i do have an hr. and i whole heartedly agree with everything you say. Ft members get into arguments with people outside FT and when tempers flare, people say/do stupid things. ESPECIALLY when the [FT] member is acting like an asshole for no reason. While both parties are to blame the side of the FT member is usually favored. I mean its nice to see the loyalty but to completely overlook the outsider's case is so unfair... I know its not necessarily an "FT" related issue... since it was originally a surf only issue. But it got moved into FTC issues, and then ppl in FT got out of hand, as well as shift. However, what i was talking about was not necessarily "being nice" to people. Calling out Nina and Kool-Aid wasnt so nice on my part either. What i was talking about (and sorry if i didnt make it clear) was arguing and having public conversation in a civilized way. When u go out somewhere... lets say to work.. you act civilized even with an argument with a co-worker or boss right? Even with someone "underneath" you in position. You dont lash out and publicly trash talk him right? Its not the right place to do it. If you want to do it, do it elsewhere and do it privately. That was the point im trying to make. We as admins SHOULD be respected regardless. We put the time and effort into achieving such a position, so we should get a lil more respect back regardless of the situation. All i was trying to point out was that regardless of the current issue, ppl should have more self-control when they argue. Granted, i cant baby, or mamma everyone. If someone is going to argue with someone "publicly" it should be done like this. The main purpose of this thread was to show how an argument should be made publicly. There is no flaming in here. There is only constructive criticism being made. That is how it should be. Although some may come across harsh, it's human to have an ego. Making a thread like this is honorable, but you can't stop humanity's ego. That statement is true. I cannot stop or prevent the way people feel or act. But my main goal for this, my sole purpose, was to at least show how things should be handled. Im not expecting to cause a revolution with this. But i succeeded even if i convinced only 1 person to argue their points a lil different. Even if only 1 person will change the way they act publicly, then this thread, and the hours i put into writing it, werent in vein. That is all i am trying to say. Peace and love all. P.S.
