I just got this in the email, I hope none of you did anything like this: Hello everyone! We'd like to thank everyone for participating in our first month of competition. Many teams have spoken to us about how they quit voting at the end of the month because they say they had no chance of winning (because first place was way too far ahead in votes). We would like to strongly encourage all team leaders/members/supporters to keep voting for their teams as the last day of the month we will be going in to all the teams and deleting illegal votes. Illegal votes include proxy votes, changing ip address, and clicking numerous times from school/work computers. Through our first month, we had many teams try "illegal votes" which we have caught and disqualified some. Due to the large amounts of them, we have decided on the last day of the month, we will review each team and delete them. This will lower many teams’ scores and makes it possible for lower scoring teams to take first place. So we encourage members not to get discouraged from continuing to try and win as at the end of the month, you may notice yourself in first place! register and vote every 24 hours. With the number of members we have if we encourage enough folks and they keep voting we cannot lose! no need to "break the rules" which we seem so good at according to Wave. | ||

Last day Today is the last day of voting for the month before the servers will be given out to the winners. Tonight, voting will close a little early, around 11:30 PM. We are closing early because we have been checking team votes and numerous teams have a lot of proxy votes. Teams will not be getting disqualified for proxy votes, but they will be deleted from their score. So we encourage all teams to promote their team URL today to get as many legit votes as possible. Some teams will be losing over 100 votes off their score due to these illegal votes, which may alter who has first place. Voting will resume by 3:00 PM EST tomorrow (most likely sooner). When voting resumes, all team captains must select a new category to compete in (You can do this by going to "Manage Team").
