Because if you do, you will want to jailbreak it. What is jailbreaking you ask? Well my friend, jailbreaking your iphone/ipod touch allows you to install third party applications on it, such as AIM clients, nes emulators, and pretty much anything you can imagine. Well, my ipod touch has been jailbroken since christmas, and i havent had any problems with it. Sometimes though, it goes into an unusable state called Recovery mode, where it displays a cord plugging into the itunes logo. Well normally when i get this screen i use a handy application on my comp called iBrickr which kicks it out of recovery mode without wiping anything off. Well, today was different. Im sitting in the middle of precalc fucking around playing super mario brothers when it freezes. So im like well shit the only way i can restart it is to enter into recovery mode. So i do that, making my ipod defunct until i get home. When i get home, i rush over to my comp to kick my touch out of recovery with iBrickr. Usually it takes 30 or so seconds. Today, it was rebooting for 50 minutes before it froze, restarted, and went back into recovery mode. Which meant i had to wipe EVERYTHING off my ipod and have to rejailbreak it. Just an idea of what i lost: 50+ programs that ill have to manually go through and reinstall 1000 songs A ton of videos i downloaded off of youtube Anchorman Superbad figured id share with you guys the ups and downs of this still-new device that causes such headaches. Oh, and one thing i REALLY hate is theres no flash. soo if anyone was considering an iphone or itouch, dont bother. wait for the next gen. |

hey emer i need that program i cant get it out of recovery mode i tried reformatting it or what ever and it still wont leave that screen...i needs that program.. |

WOW EMERICAN U ARE A FUCKIN RETARD....ALL U NEED TO DO IS RESET UR PHONE BY HOLDING THE TOP BUTTON or THE OTHER WAY IS BY PLUGGING IN IT TO A POWER SUPPLY AND IT WILL UNFREEZE AFTER COUPLE MINUTES......and incase u didnt kno emerican the new update comes out in june that will have all the programs without hacking it. and dont wait for next gen iphone cuz it won come out for about 2 years. | ||
