Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I would of thrown it ONLY becuz i wouldn't think i would have enough time to run away. It wouldn't be an act of courageousness but cowardice. I can't even imagine how brave you gotta be to do what this soldier did. Bush should feel like a piece of shit. Instead he probably felt like his good deed of the day was giving him a medal of honor |

he didn't throw it because he probably didn't have time. grenades don't sit there all that long. If it lands right in front of you and within reach you have time. Most likely if he tried to throw it it would have gone off in his hand or very shortly after he let go and both him and those around him would have been killed or wounded. Where as by jumping on it he smothers the blast/shrapnel and those around him are harmed little compared to an outright blast. I know a number of navy seals and you don't fuck with them... some are brave, some are just fucking nuts. It's a fine line between brave and crazy and most seals that i know flip flop over the line. But i love how Bush gave the speech as if he knew the guy. What a fucking douchebag. |

Bush may not be the greatest president but he speaks from his heart. Unlike Hilary 'Smile all the time' Clinton... Edited Thu Apr 10 2008, 01:15AM |

Im in the army... and thats nothing compared to navy seals, but even with all of my training and classes, and countless hours of shitty attitudes, i still would not have had that natural instinct to do what he did. Quite frankly, i wouldve either ran, or tryed to save someone i knew very close by diving on them! He wass deff. a brave and smart man | ||

Very honorable... more then honorable.. down right heroic. This isnt even saving lives, its human sacrifice. He really loved this way of life and helping others, especially those he loved, so this is just so surreal and awesome. It's very sad and depressing, but he did it and knew his decision the moment it got in his mind. He knew what he was doing, and he would not want people to pity him or anything. My prayers to the family and friends. he seemed like an extremely amazing guy. Rare to come by these days |
