I wonder what Ninca's personal stake is in this. It seems like we dont know the whole deal... maybe since Defined is mad at Shift, and ninca <3 defined, he's getting pressure to pursue this until Shift is gone. I'm not sure. |

Pretty sure he is just an asshole. Ill just throw in there, as for the whole health thing, many hack packs come with bhop scripts, walls, aim, esp, ect. So you can bunnyhop, wall, radar hack, and know their health. | ||

Well, not to say Ninca is wrong on everything, I'm saying there were a few errors in his nit-picking of Shift's apology. And I don't think everybody read it thoroughily, his apology or Ninca's scrutiny of it to really push away the brush to see whats going on. Here's what I gather in plain english. - Shift was on his roommate's computer which has hacks bound to <Insert> - Shift's <Push to talk> key in Vent is bound to <Insert> on Shift's PC - Shift accidentally pressed <Insert> to talk, inadvertantly turning on ESP (hacks that allow you to see a player's name and health through walls, but not the player's model or otherwise) - Shift hadn't used hacks before, was a complete dumbass and forgot he was in a scrim match wearing the FT tag, and played for a little while with the hacks on to see what it was like - After he was called on it, he denied it thinking it would just be shrugged off as many topics are on these forums (no one seems to take shit seriously anymore unless it comes from someone with admin, or Ninca who doesn't let shit drop, lol Ninca) I can't confirm or disconfirm any info, but the story Shift supplied in explanation seems to make logical sense, so I don't think there are any holes in it to the best of my knowledge. I don't know about the alleged hacks in |zm| or bunny hopping, I can't really remember ever playing with him, but whatever. I just didn't want him to get labeled a liar as well as a hacker. I'm still voting a yes to the term thread, hacking is like a mortal sin, but I don't think he was lying. |

well all i have to say is to rusty's post. when shift initially lied to everyone he lost the benifit of the doubt and its kinda hard to beleive something like that. is it possible, yes. given the recent history of him lying its not likely | ||
